Grandma's Grave

Saturday we had the chance to go visit Grandma Eppich's Grave. We have done this every year since she passed away. This Year just a few of us were able to attend. This is something I look forward to doing every year, since I did not know grandma very well. It was still a great experience though:) Plus Grandpa Eppich treated us to Granny's Buffet afterwards!

Spring Break and General Conference 2010

We traveled to Provo to spend our spring break with Kaitlan and Kortneigh. We had a great time being with them and spending time with all our extended family that lives there. The kids and I headed down Saturday night after Kraymer's State Knowledge Bowl Competition. (CHS took 6th Place in State) Todd flew down and met us Tuesday night after work. We had a fun filled week and look forward to the girls coming home this Summer. Kortneigh is coming home the end of April and Kaitlan is staying Spring semester.

Showing off their State Football Rings
Kaitlan and Kortneigh's roommate got us great tickets to General Conference on Easter and the Priesthood session. It was wonderful.Snowboarding at Sundance and Brighton.

Mia-Maid Teacher Conference

On Saturday My mom, my dad and me went to the Tri-Stake (Pasco, Hermiston and Kennewick) Miamaid/ Teacher conference. It was a long day (8:30am-9:00pm) but I had alot of fun! In the morning we did a service project, and listened to a few speakers. We had lunch, then split into groups for three 45 min. classes. They were really great! We also had a testimony meeting, along with dinner and another speaker. Last, there was a dance (my favorite part:-) from 6:45-9:00pm. The good news- I danced about 17 times. The bad news- almost half of them were my cousins:-) haha. As you can tell in the picture below, I had alot of them there! However I did get to meet a few new people. Overall it was a fun day! I have developed a new hobby...Stake Dances!

Happy Birthday Karigan!

Yes it's true. The babe is 14. No holding her back now. She is going to kill us, metaphorically speaking. (good one, huh Kort?). This girl is a mover and a shaker and knows how to get things going. She is one fun, happy girl who loves a party. She is very mature for her age and knows what she wants and how to organize it. I hope Stake Dances are what she thinks they are all cracked up to be or we will all pay for it. We look forward to every minute with her. The following pictures are, of course, taken in the wee hours of the morning celebrating her birthday. It was especially fun because we were able to "skype" the BYU sisters and wake them up as well "-). We love skype, if you haven't tried it, you should. I think she had a fun several days...as she has become very good at turning the birth day into a multi-day event. I still think the mother of these children should get something on these special days for obvious reasons. Regardless, we love this beautiful young lady and so glad she is ours baby girl.

This picture has NOTHING to do with her birthday, I just think it's really funny. We were at Kraymer and Kade's game being silly during half time and I took the picture of us. Still cracks me up. It won't be on the blog for long. It will be promptly removed and deleted as soon as she sees it!! Ha Ha

Her birthday cake of choice.

Yet another party.....go figure.

I've Been Heart-Attacked!

After coming home from mutual tonight, I found my room like this. Shortly after arriving I realized I had been heart-attacked!!! along with beautiful roses and cute notes from each Mia-Maid! I was pleasently surprised, and very glad my room was clean:-) Since my mom is the Mia-Maids teacher she had to keep a secret and not let it slip. I love it and can't wait to be a Mia-Maid:-)

Not that I'm counting...

...But 7 days until my birthday! I cannot wait until the 20th! I will be able to go to stake dances. My dad already assured me that I will have to dance with him every song at my first stake dance... we will have to see about that one! Tomorrow is my last sunday as a Beehive, then My mom will be my leader in the Mia-Maids class:) I can't believe I will be 14!
