Update

So in the last few months- we have moved back to our hometown, are in the processes of selling our house, Eric got a new job, had a new beautiful baby boy, and Lexi turned 16 months old and is climbing and running everywhere.

Its been crazy! Hopefully we can get settled and enjoy the next few months! Bring on the summer!

So peaceful!

We are so happy to finally have our little guy here. After trying to hold out and wait for him to come on his own and not have to have another c-section, we ended up making the decision to go in for a scheduled c-section because I wasn't progressing at all and was five days over due. Everyone agreed it would be the safest way to go. So we got to the hospital at 7am, went into the operating room at 8:40, they started cutting at 9:00 and then at 9:04 he was out and Screaming. It all went soooo fast. I was scared I wasn't going to be numb, but it turned out all good. Oh except for the five minutes or so after they finished sewing everything up and the counted all the surgical tool and couldn't find one of the sponge things. They must have counted 20 times looking for it, it was so crazy. But they finally found it.

We have been loving every minute of getting to know our new little guy. I thought for sure he would look like his sister but he doesn't at all. We are still trying to decide who he looks most like.

As for Lexi she is trying to learn to share the spotlight. Hopefully we will get a routine down soon!

Being the parents of two children is a whole new ball game.

But it is a the best blessing and wouldn't change a thing.

Update

So just a quick update- we are excited to announce that Lexi is going to be a big sister the first of April!
We just found out that she is getting a little brother.  We are all very excited and I am a bit nervous about having two little kids. But it will be fun!

Its about time...

So I am finally getting around to updating and making my blog private. So if you haven't given me your email address yet, hurry! I signed up for Facebook and have been checking that out and have kinda forgot about the blog for a while.

I have a lot of new post to do but have been so lazy, I wanted to make the blog private first.

The summer is flying by. Especially since I quit my job I have had for the last 5 years. It has really thrown me off, I am not sure what to do now that I don't have somewhere to be for 9 hours a day! But I am loving getting to spend time with my little girl. She is getting to be so fun and her personality is coming out like crazy! She really loves to hear her own voice. And her eye is getting tons better! Yeah!
