November Misc.

 Aila got really sick with the croup.  She would constantly cry for Eric and would only sleep and find comfort in his arms.  She continues to be a daddy's girl.

I put Kinsley's hair in little buns and on Thanksgiving morning took them out...  WOW, not quite the look I was going for.  The 80's called... they want their hair back!  She LOVED it and cried when I made her pull it back into a ponytail to control it. 

Aila is the messiest eater!  She still has to wear a bib and sit in her highchair for every meal.  I don't remember Kinsley being this messy.

Aila, finally, started becoming interested in books.  She still won't let me read to her but she loves to read stories to her baby dolls.

Happy Birthday Eric

 We recently celebrated Eric's 31st birthday!  He received two new pairs of shoes, a ski mask, a new pillow, and "man tools."  While working on our house we seemed to be lacking a lot of tools.  For example; measuring for our vinyl privacy fence was difficult because Eric's current tape measure only measured up to 12 feet.  He and I kept having to switch places and add  12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12.....  Needless to say, if you notice our fence not ending quite where we wanted it to blame the tape measure not the people measuring.

The next morning Eric had the Spanish Speaking Elders over at our house for a correlation meeting. Instead of me baking a cake he asked me to make cinnamon rolls for the meeting.

Boise Temple Open House

Eric and Kinsley went to the Boise, ID Temple Open House with the Spanish Branch.  I was taking care of my sister, Kristi, so Aila and I stayed at my parents home.  Eric said they had a great turnout... over 85 people... {now, if only they could get that many to go to church}.  The Branch rented a large bus to carry everyone and took everyone out to dinner after their tour.  Eric said Kinsley surprised him and started speaking Spanish to the other little kids on the bus.  (She still refuses to speak Spanish at home.) When Kinsley came home she was SO excited to tell me that she got to go INSIDE the temple and she kept telling me how beautiful it was.

 

Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween started at my parents' house.  My mom made some yummy soup and cinnamon rolls and the kids make Halloween necklaces and magnets.  After dinner we walked across the yard to the shop where their ward was having a Halloween party.

 The kids LOVED the cotton candy machine and went back for seconds and thirds.

 After the party we went Trick-or-Treating to all of our Grandparents and Great Grandparents.  Kinsley decided she wanted to be a witch and Aila, once again, refused to wear her witch hat.  By the end of the night they were both pros at saying "Trick-or-Treat!"

 They were the cutest little witches!
