Black Beauty with a touch of vintage

if there is any vintage black dress that you should get, it's definitely this one here, cus i'm loving everything asymmetrical about it! off-shoulder with a single strap, uneven knee-length ends and even buckled at the side trim - a classic number of it's own! the unique tiered chain necklace goes with the dress just perfect! bag a beautifully swirled black sleeky bag that adds just the right touch of feminine taste with the frills, and slip on a pair of vintage-ish shoes like this classic design of covered round toes with lace on a high elevated wedge! all dressed up for either a good day at work or even a smart casual dinner!

Simple touches of elegance

spotted a simple yet sophisticated dress! what i like bout it the most, is it's structured cutting with outward stitching that goes vertically from up to down! i'd reckon it's be very figure defining - one of the most important details for a bodycon dress, if you ask me! match it with a sleek elevated killer heels with structured patterns as well to compliment the dress. sling over a totally cute quilted heart shape bag (at only RM15, it's a steal!). and if RM15 is not "stealing" enough to steal your heart, what about a really pretty necklace with old-english inspired faux-rhinestone and keys for just RM10? simple touches of elegance!

Miss Monday!

i have bitter, strange-behaving colleagues who can get offended if you come in all colorful on a blue monday. they say it's a mockery, rubbing salt to the wound, wearing colors on a blue monday. (puns intended. i still heart them. long time. tee-hee) ... so, miss doodle has since smartened up in kicking away monday blues looking nice, but non-color offensive!

go monochrome! check out this stylish bodycon dress in black with smart, striking swirls in white! i'd reckon that it has a very slimming effect with the white swirls - a most important factor when wearing a bodycon (cus it's body hugging).

here's more gorgeous black and white bodycon dress from blackmilkproject!

match it with an oversized tote with black quilted bottom and gold colored chain handle. i like quilted stuff, kinda just adds in a touch of sophistication somehow.

accessories with delirious's latest collection, chained necklace and bracelets. i think they're just classy, with stylish simplicity connecting just varieties of chains. lastly, heighten up with a 4-inches high pumps in dual tone. nice!

and of-course, if you don't have anti-color-on-a-blue-monday colleagues like mine, try out this pretty red-pink colored combination from them!

Simple Sophistication

this is definitely THE professional black dress for THE important presentation! an almost perfect looking cut - with vertically lined buttons from top to bottom that gives a very slimming effect at the front, frilled sleeves that adds femininity, sewn-in belt and a pencil skirt bottom that elongates your height. pair it with this beautiful quilted pumps! now, u've gotta match it with a bag that stands out, but in a classy way, so color is an important factor. i'd choose pastel royal purple with a silverish touch. and you don't wanna over accessorize as well, so just go with a simple touch slim bangles with a combination of silver and black. simple, smart and professional yet exudes with elegance!

The Lady in Red

what a classy beautiful red dress with frills from top to bottom! not sure if the belt is included though. i would say it's a perfect slimming dress with all the vertical frills at the front where it hides *ahem* ... tummies. hehe.

i'm loving the dainty rounded white hat with a big ribbon bow! pretty! accessorize with this beautiful floral necklace. the white flower bulbs will look like it's blooming at your neck-line! tote a white oversized bag - totally a necessity (i personally have this obsession with oversized bag :P).

lastly, i'm totally head over heels with this pair of christian louboutin platform with ankle-tie ribbon!! *melts*! super beautiful oookkkkkk! but sadly it's already not available anymore in-store. damn pretty right?

playful formal!

there's this serious sara in my workplace, who wears only black formal shirt, black formal a-line skirt, black formal handbag, and black formal 2" pumps, cus according to her, formal has got to be so serious, she can't do colors.

that's gotta be some serious formal curse. *gasp*... now says who formal has gotta be serious!? let miss doodles inject some colors into your formal world!

well, conservatively saying, there is a certain truth that black brings about "serious" formalness, but the trick to injecting colors, is to not overdo it! the safest way to go colorful without being a pain-in-the-eye-colorful at your office place, is to go pastel!

slip on this loose fitting tunic top in fresh apple green! comfy, and an instant freshening dash of color! the front bow serves perfectly as a formal sash with a hint of playfulness! pair with a pastel fitting pencil skirt, which is important to draw back the hourglass shape below your loose tunic top. the uniqueness of this skirt, is actually at the back. check out the layered frills with a bow at the top back! if you wanna show it off, just wear your top tucked in!

you have gotta bring in some freshness of life to counter the black-formal-curse, so slip on this beautiful necklace with a cabochon flower! just look at the flower, it's just so delicately crafted! the little brass butterfly will look just like it sits at your neckline cus you'll look so chirpy!

now the shoes, keep it sleek and simple. so i'll go for a white christian louboutin! again, sleek and simple don't mean plain, just like this 3-buckled pumps! one-of-a-kind!

and the bag - same rules! sleek and simple - and i'm going for kate spade in striking pink and matching bow to bring about some contrast for my pastel clothing. i personally love kate spade cus of its impeccable yet classy simplicity. not too mention, their dashing colors are always an attention getter!

formal is so boring?

there was a really loud sigh from across my office, and i heard a draggy lament that goes, "everyday gotta wear formal , formal formal! soOooo boringgggg-lahhhhh!" i beg to differ. there is no such thing as boring fashion! here's a walking example on how you can even wear formal - looking cool! a star-studded *almost* sleeveless shirt to work, and flaunt those bling blings right off your shoulder! the best part is that it has structured sewings, and i love structured shirts 'cus it's really flattering to your body shape! kinda puts those body line attention in at the right place. and with all the straight lines at the top, the bubble skirt is just great to balance it off. i super love it's design, like little petals surrounding the waist area, they look like a lotus! and ofcors, the heels. loving that black and white combi! then grab some matching black and white bracelets to accessorize. and with every thing in monochrome colors, whip out your spanking red bag for some attention screaming! here's a red structured quilted one to match your structured shirt! lastly, a matching long necklace in red. it has a real heart on the pendant, as in organ heart! quirky!
