Introducing.... Jackson Daniel Lindsay! He's finally here..!! Oh wait, that was a month ago...

Jackson, two weeks old

Jackson Daniel Lindsay was born on August 20th, 2013! He was 20.5 inches, and 8 lb 9 oz. Big baby!

Daphne loves having a new 'doll' to play with. She's been VERY helpful with tending to him.

We're having so much fun with no sleep!

25 Years Ago Today

Happy Birthday to Justin!  And THANK YOU again to Craig and Kerri --
25 years ago, Kevin had a school bus training in SLC on Aug 10 and of course, I started labor.
So Kerri takes me to the hospital and sits with me until Kevin arrives (remember this was before cell phones, so Craig and Kerri had to call the convention center - before the Delta center existed -- and figure out who to talk to, to get Kevin paged!  It was a process, and then Kevin had to find a ride back to Logan because he rode down with someone else.  It was several hours before he made it back!!)  And then in the meantime, Craig had to watch Lisa and Cody!!  What a day -- And then, our good friends, Mike and Jeannie Riddle (Jeannie was past due) ended up in the hospital and it became a bit of competition who would have their baby first.  And we had the same doctor, who went from room to room to help us both!  And then he told people in my room, to "slow" me down as Jeannie was going first!  Yep, Jeannie won the baby race by less than an hour!! 
It was a crazy circus that day -- lots of memories and we ended up with our favorite son!

THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU MARRY AN IDAHO GIRL!

Three friends married women from different parts of the United States.

The first man married a Utah girl. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a California girl. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table. ...

The third man married a girl from Idaho. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table every day. The first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything either, ...... but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down, he could see a little out of his left eye and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher!

On Wednesday at 2:40 PM Lisa had her baby at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma WA.  Sorry, all I have are cell phone pictures for now.  I'm certain that Lisa will provide many more pictures in the future.

Babies Babies Everywhere!

Greg & Heidi are happy to announce that we are having a little baby in January! We don't know if its a boy or a girl yet, but we do know that our little baby is already adorable! These sonogram photos are kind of blurry because baby was in a wiggly mood when they were done on Thursday. :)

Sandy's Blessing was on June 2, 2013. It was a fun day, and the blessing her daddy gave her was absolutely beautiful!! Thank you so much to all of those who were there with us and for those who couldn't make it here are some pictures!!! Here is Sandy with her Grandpa!!!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all of our wonderful fathers!  There are LOTS in this great family :)

We moved Lisa and Brian into their new home in No. Olympia yesterday -- they are trying to buy a "short-sell" and are renting it while the bank approves their offer.  BUT they will have PLENTY to do in this DIY house!  Nothing that lots of scrubbing/painting/and love will fix!  So tomorrow I am going over again to start painting!  Lisa has 6 weeks to go -- WOOHOO -- and Cannon will be here to meet some very excited family.  And will have an awesome room to boot -- haha!  I have painting, sewing, and a simple chair rail to go :)

I may be the only one who liked what I did to Greg's beard... but at least I had fun.  He said I could try shaving him. So I did. Lol. We are liking our new place in Roy. It's super close to work. I start a new job on Monday. It's telemarketing... We'll see how it goes. Talk to you all soon!

Sandy's Blessing Day

We will be blessing Sandy on June 2, 2013.  For anyone interested in coming it will be at the Paul Stake Center and Sacrament meeting starts at 10:45.  Then, right after church gets out at noon, we will be having a Potluck BBQ at our house, which is almost right next to the church.  So bring your favorite salad, jello or dessert.  If you think you might come let me know so I can get an idea of how many people are coming.  Thanks!!

Miss Sandy Dawn Gillette

Here is Sandy Dawn Gillette she joined us on April 29, 2013 at 8:55 a.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds and 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. A full head of long and dark brown hair, big blue eyes lined with long eye lashes and ten perfect fingers and toes. Everything went really well with the labor and delivery. We went in Sunday night and they told me I was ready to have a baby. I wasn't even feeling all of the contractions. By 1:30 though they were getting more painful so I got the epidural! What a wonderful thing that was!!! My doctor came around 3 a.m. and broke my water. It was a bit of a long night and I didn't sleep much but the couch was good for Damon and he slept pretty good. Around 7 they came and checked me again and said they were going to let me rest and descend and then I would push. At 8:20 they came and said that the baby was really close and it was time. After 35 minutes Sandy was here!!

 She has been a pretty calm baby from the beginning. This picture is right after they brought her back from bathing her. It was weird when they took her since I had been with her for the last 8 and a half months!

 She is about a week old in these next pictures. I just love watching her facial expressions and listening to those cute little sounds she makes. And she really likes having her hands around or on her face and sometimes she just looks so dramatic when she gets those hands going.

 I love her beautiful smiles even though they aren't actually on purpose yet. I caught the end of a big smile in this one.

 This is a five generation picture. With my first baby, my moms first granddaughter, my grandma's first great-granddaughter, and my great-grandma's great-great-granddaughter. On the Lindsay side she is the 53rd great-grandchild. On the Gillette side she is the 13th grandchild. We are so blessed with so many wonderful family members.

 She likes tummy time for about five minutes and then she gets a bit frustrated.

 More hands up next to her face again. Sleeping peaceful.

 Here she is hanging out with her daddy. When she is upset, and her dad picks her up or plays with her she calms down.

 This picture was taken earlier today. She lost her umbilical cord this morning and then a little while later I was holding her and she peed and it leaked out of her diaper and all over the both of us. So I decided it was time to use the baby bath. She didn't know what to think about it she kept trying to lift her bum out of the water. But she didn't cry at all so that was good. But the bath must have wore her out because shortly after she fell asleep!

After her bath her hair really fluffed out. She is a very healthy baby, in the first week she gained a pound and grew 2 inches and at her 2 week weight check on Monday she weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces. Also so everyone knows we will be blessing her the first Sunday in June which is the 2nd. And for anyone that might be interested in coming our Sacrament meeting starts at 10:45. Katrina's Graduation

Just to let everybody know, Katie's graduation is on May 28th at 3 PM.  We are having a BBQ right afterwards for everybody that wants to come.

Graduation

My graduation is May 28th.

because of Dad being laid off I was only able to get a few announcments so we are putting it up here and everybody is invited to come.

We're Engaged!

So as most have you have heard. Alex proposed to me Friday night. Well April 5th was our 3 year "dating" anniversary so Alex surprised me with dinner at The Melting Pot, which is a fondue restaurant. They had the table set up with candles and a happy anniversary card from the restaurant. We had never been to a fondue restaurant so it was pretty cool especially the 3rd course where you cook your own meat. And desserts was of course the best part, chocolate covered goodies.

So about halfway through dinner we were talking about the gifts we had gotten each other, and I told him mine wasn't really a gift more of a date after our date.  I asked when he was going to give me my gift and he said anytime and of course me being impatient said well how about right now. So he came over to my side of the table and told me to close my eyes, which I did, when I opened them there was a small black velvet box opened with a very sparkly ring sitting inside of it. I was like what is this??? Alex responded, "Oh, I think you know what this is." And continued to ask me to marry him. And without a doubt I said YES! The manager bought our drinks for us and with the dessert course they brought out sauce plates that said congrats. It was a fabulous night. How could it not be though??

After getting proposed to my gift paled greatly in comparison to his. We had a popcorn bowl and candy and watched Casablanca on the projector. Alex has more pictures on his phone so I might have to add them later

Surgery - Healing Sucks

Hand surgery is no fun. I need to remember not to do too much. Love you all!

Just in case you didn't know, I had carpal tunnel release on my left hand. I am hoping to feel it was worth it soon. I'm sure I will, but right now, I am wishing I hadn't done it. :/
