Priorities and Sacrifice

I came home late the other night and did my routine "check on the kids" before I went to bed. I peeked in at the boys and found Jacob sawing logs without his pillow in sight, let alone under his head. After a quick check around his bed, I found this:


Knowing how important it is for engines to get a good night's rest in order to be Really Useful Engines the next day, I left Thomas and Duncan snuggled on the pillow and found another one for Jacob's sweet head.
After all, train-loving boys need a good night's rest too! Otherwise the Sodor Railroad may be short one Really Useful Driver in the morning!
