The New Do

Well, my goal sinceu DD was to grow my hair out. I reached that goal, but in the process I realized that (1) I don't like to do my hair, and (2) I think I look better with short hair. Plus, it's the only thing I can change right now as it looks like I've swallowed a basketball. So needless to say I had my good friend chop it and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Although it really bothers me that I can never get my hair to look the same way it does the day I come home from the salon. Oh well!

Favorite Radio Station

For those of you on the home front I wanted to pass along my new favorite radio station! It's 100.7 FM. Check it out. It's all about songs from our Jr. High/High School days. I can't believe how many words I remember. :) DH just looks at me funny as I sing my heart out in the car and DD copies me by bobbing her head to the beat. It's awesome.

Date of Eviction

Well first of all, my new calling is the Secretary in the Stake Primary Presidency. So I'm trying to get everything taken care of before baby arrives. I've never had a Stake calling, so this should be interesting and fun. And now for the good news....

To use BlackEyedSue's words, this baby's eviction date has been set. I'm not due until November 8th, but we went to the doctor today and I'm progressing well, so we scheduled a date to be induced. Friday, November 2nd is the magical day, unless I go earlier. I'm thrilled and hope the next 8 days go by fast. Although now I'm wondering what I still need to get done before he comes. The final count down has begun.

Change

I'm learning to expect change. Just when you're comfortable with life, things always have a way of changing. Right now we're job searching for DH - what a pain, the baby is coming soon, and I just received a new calling. I'm just having one of those "it neve seems to end" vibes right now. My lesson so far? Patience - after doing all I can do I have to trust in the Lord.
