Pilot Butte Crew

Here we are at the top of Pilot Butte. It was cold! Our 90 degree weather is gone and now it's back in the 50's :( We also saw some deer, which I have never seen on the butte before. Sadly, one had a hurt leg and didn't look so healthy.

Busy Weekend

My friend Meredith and her daughter Ava came for the weekend. As always it went by fast. Here's a dessert we made out of Cooking Light. It was delish. Chocolate pudding layered cake with an almond crust. We made this on Friday. Saturday we went to watch parts of the Pole, Peddle, Paddle (annual athletic event here in Bend). It was over 90 degrees so we didn't stay long. Saturday night we had both sets of parents over for Pizza so they could see Ava. She has grown so much. Unfortunetly I didn't take any pictures which is not me, but Meredith did. So I'll post some of hers.

We spent most of the day on Sunday in Newport. It had been over a year since we'd been there and Austin could have spent all day watching the seals or all day playing in the sand.

The Franklin Wedding

I am happy to announce that Andy and Becky are married!! I'll share photos and you can see how beutiful the bride was/is and how handsome the groom was/is :) Congratulations! We are so blessed to have such a great addition to our family.

Crazy Man!

Here's Chris playing with Austin's Nerf gun, wearing Austin's Cars bike helmet and goggles. Yes, Chris just turned 28...not 2 :) I was trying to tell him that Austin is not suppose to point that at people, but now he sees Daddy chasing Mommy around with it. How do you explain that concept to a 2 year old? Thankfully Austin is still "shooting" at stuffed bears and not trying to get me or the cats :)
