{{ K+ C }}

These two had the perfect wedding day. One huge bonus was that the wind wasn't
blowing....something almost unheard of in Idaho.
This my lil sis and her new hubby Colt. We are very excited that he is now
officially part of the family.

You can check out her bridal pictures they took the day before the wedding
here at Pepperwood Photography. I have many favorites but I love the one next to the tree
with ice wall in the back ground. Amazing.
I highly recommend her photographer....so if you in and around the
Magic Valley check her out.

Congrats you two! We wish you all the best.

Harper Lu

A few of my favorites from Harper's photoshoot.
I can't believe that she is already three weeks old. We just can't get enough of her.

First Snow of the season!

Reese was so excited to go help Derik go clear the driveway.

If you know Reese...you will know that we see her bum crack a little
too often. Since she doesn't have any hips her pants
are always falling down. Derik wanted to document for future blackmail.

Happy Halloween-

Reese was really excited about Halloween this year...even though her face
doesn't really show it. This was at our ward party. It was fabulous.
A special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Page
for coming over to watch Harper while we enjoyed the festivities.

Bishop Kuresa and Susanne. Their costumes never disappoint.
Also, two thumbs up for the making cotton candy.
Yes, it is one of my true loves. I will own one of these machines someday.

Grandma Mitchell with her 3 princes. Brandon & Cortney were kind enough to let
Maybree come with Grandma for Halloween. They all had such a great time.
These 3 girls were all born within 6 months of each other.

Marsha Brady (Grandma Page) and Rapunzel (Reese)

Taking a break and enjoying some sugar! They were such good girls
and entertained themselves while we shopped.

A princess and her castle...

Little Miss Reese has had her world rocked a little bit
since the birth of Harper. Luckily, she likes Harper. She
just misses having all the attention.  Derik has gone
above and beyond trying to make her happy and feel extra
special. It all started with helping her make a crown.
Her only request is that it had to be purple.
So, Derik went to work cutting, coloring
and measuring to make her the perfect princess crown.
Needless to say she loved it! She had to take it with her everywhere.
It was something very simple but brought her great joy.

Then came Saturday. Those of you that know Derik
knows he has to be busy doing something or he goes crazy. Since
Harper and I don't get out much he was looking for something to do.
He decided to make her a castle....I mean every princess needs a castle right?
How handy that we already had the materials that had been given to us from Uncle Mark.
He was off to the garage with Reese to do a "Handy Manny Project"
(another of Reese's favorite shows). They had a great time together.
Making Memories.
In the middle of the project we had to go to the hardware store to get
some hinges for the door and Reese fell asleep on the way home.
This gave him the chance to finish putting it together
and then do a big reveal when she woke up.

Love at first sight. (Take notice of the crown)

She couldn't wait to go in! It even has a tower.

Testing out her new bed.

She loves it and can't wait for Derik to come home and play with her.
He may wish that he had made the door smaller so he couldn't fit inside.

Introducing...

Harper Luella Page
October 12, 2011
3:53 pm
7 lbs 11 oz
19"

I think that she is pretty adorable if I say so myself.

I went into the doctors office for an appointment and without giving you TMI my water broke while I was there. I was so relieved. I was so ready to have this baby. So, I called Derik to tell him the great news and then proceeded to Labor and Delivery and checked myself in. All in all it was an easy delivery except for the part when my epidural was only working on one side...so glad he got that fixed.  We are both doing great. I special thank you to everyone who has helped with meals, watched Reese, the gifts and all the visitors. We are indeed blessed.

More pictures to come.

Labor Day

I am so behind on my posts! I am going to try and get caught up at some point so check back
for more posts durning July and August.

Another fun weekend camping.
This is usually the one camping trip that is dedicated to horseback
riding. The first spot we wanted to go was taken so
we had to relocate but it still ended up working
out...maybe for the better. We had to travel back in forth
due to Grandma Page's 80th birthday party and church assignments
but we still managed to have a great time and get plenty of camping in.

Can't wait until next year.

Demolition Derby-232X

Derik found himself driving one of these.....

He kind of got roped in to it...not that they had to twist his arm to hard. DJ just happened to
have a car that he had used in two derby's already this year
that was still running. Sarah tells me they had
nicknamed it the money maker.

He placed in his heat and made it back the main.

Reese and Cooper dancing during the dance off...well Cooper is at least.

He didn't last long in the main event. You would think that his motor was done by this
picture but his drive line broke.

The fun was over but he had a blast. The money maker didn't
disappoint he walked away with $100 and great memories.
We celebrated the victory with DJ and Sarah
at Gaucho Grill.

P.S. if you ever get a chance to go to Gaucho Grill you must
try the Strawberry Limeade.
HEAVENLY.

Sweet is the work.

It takes a lot of work but it is so worth it. I love freezer corn. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Leishman for helping me. We will be enjoying it all winter long.

Flaming Gorge....

.....or as we call it the Rainy Gorge.  I think that I may have been the only one happy about
the cooler weather. In my pregnant state I was happy not to have swollen feet. However,
those that were there to enjoy the water activities felt otherwise.  Overall it was a great camping
trip and we made a lot of good memories.

It is a really pretty place. This is the view we enjoyed one morning while fishing at Sunny Cove.

Reese helping us fish.

All packed up ready to head home. Reese was enjoying a little classic Tom & Jerry. Which since the trip she now affectionately calls Flaming Gorge.

3 Yr Old Pictures

I finally found some time to take Reese's 3 year old pictures.
She is growing up so fast! Here are few of my favorites.

The Great Outdoors...

With Derik being gone almost all of June we took the first opportunity
to go camping. We tried out a new spot and loved it.
It was beautiful, wooded and green.

On Saturday Grandma Page came up to visit since Grandpa was
out of the country. We enjoyed taking walks and visiting
while Derik went for a ride on his mountain bike.
It was crazy to see how much of the campground
had been effected by the flooding. There
were some sites that were still underwater. We hope
to make it back for another visit soon.

Needless to say we had a terrific weekend.

Sad that it is over.

He is back!

My handsome hubby has been in Brazil for work the last 3 long weeks.
I have a new respect for those who have to be apart from their loved ones.
I missed being able to call him when ever I needed him.
Thank goodness for technology, internet and Skype.
Thank goodness for family that kept me occupied and sane while he was gone. Especially my mom!

6100 miles is a long ways away.
It made me miss him like crazy.
I am so excited to have him in bed next to me a night.
I can't wait to start all of our summer fun together.
I am happy that Reese will no longer think he is at McDonalds.  (he skyped from there one night)
Here's to hoping that they don't send him back anytime soon!

Welcome home sweetheart.

P.S. Yes, Reese insisted on taking her golf clubs in the airport. Sometimes you pick your battles...Right? At least it made for a cute pic.

St. George

This week was spent enjoying Southern Utah.  Boy was it HOT. At least 105 everyday and
on Friday when we left at 11:30 a.m. it had already hit 100!
Hot and pregnant. Not a good combination. Thank goodness for Air Conditioning.
The beautiful Taucahn was enjoyed. Two nights to be exact.
The first was...

We took the kiddos this night. Reese loved it! I was was a little worried because
it didn't start until 8:45 p.m. However, she took a late 3 hr nap so
she was good to go. She kept asking me the rest of the
trip if she could go see it again.

Thanks to Mom, Nancy and Grandma for watching the kids- Lacey, Mandilyn and myself
we able to have a girls night out to...

Which was fabulous as well. It didn't cool off much at the show. In fact
when we left at 11:30 it was still 91 degrees outside.
My feet were swollen and during intermission I indulged in a foot soak
in the water fountain/stream. I didn't care. I was going to sit there
until someone told me I couldn't. Luckily no one did and there
were many others who joined me in getting some relief.

We also celebrated my 32nd birthday.  Thank you
to everyone who called, sent cards and text messages!

And a special thanks to Aunt Nancy for sharing your amazing house
with us. It was perfect!

Little Miss Reese

It's her birthday today!

I can't believe that she is already 3 years old. It seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital praying that Derik would make it back from his job interview in Denver for her birth.  He did make it. With time to spare thanks to JBS for bumping his interview and his flight. Wow, it was an exciting day. A new baby and a job offer that would allow me to be a stay at home mom.  I love being a mom and can't wait to add another to our family. We feel so privileged and blessed.

Reese- we hope that you have a very special day. You have been wanting a birthday for a long time!
Love, Mom & Dad

Simple Pleasures...

Reese loves a good ride on the horse walker. Yes, it may look a little red neck-
a blue plastic barrel with baling twine but it brings her
complete and utter happiness and me too.

It was the perfect ending to a wonderful saturday afternoon.
We hope for many more this summer. If only it would warm up.

Horse Show

Last weekend we took Reese to the Smithfield Health Days Horse Show.
She had sooo much fun and has been asking when she can go to another horse show.
Unfortunately, that might be a while due to the recent Equine Herpes outbreak.
We appreciate mom, dad, grandma and grandpa leishman for coming to support her.
Grandma and Papa Page were not there because Papa was
getting out of the hospital. We are so glad you are feeling better
and we wished you could have been there. Next time!

Cooper riding Pixie and Tyler. Reese riding Turbo and Derik. She loves that Cooper does this too.

She was so excited that she got a blue money ribbon. She calls it this because it has a metal on it with a picture of a horse. She thinks it is money.
