Long Time...No Write

I have been using Facebook so much that I have not even thought about writing on the blog. A lot has happened since last blogging. Andrew came, and he will be one in a week; and we moved to South Georgia. I am still adjusting to country living... Micah started 1st grade in August. It is going well. Everyday is different, but interesting!

We are loving our new church! Our pastor and his family are wonderful. The children seemed to have adjusted well. We will be celebrating Micah's 6th birthday this weekend. We miss all of our TBC friends, but I am thankful that God has sent us new people to befriend!

Micah started soccer, and will begin piano this week. I am soooo excited about this! Katelyn loves books and singing. Her speech is getting clearer by the month! Andrew started walking early, and is slower than his siblings in getting his teeth. He is my cuddler. Well, I hope this will sustain until next year...LOL.

It is Sunday, and it is my 4th Fathers day with Micah and my 2nd Fathers day with Katelyn...I am so very thankful that the Lord has blessed me with such a great family...Esther thankyou for being a great and thoughtful wife, and thankyou Micah and Katelyn for being great children...I don't have very much time to give you updates, but our God is truly great, and his blessings are always far beyond anything that we could ask for...Thankyou Lord for blessing me with such a great family...

I have discovered something amazing...From now on I will take full advantage of fathers day...Pregnancy lasts for 9 months combined with Mothers day, birthday and anniversary, Esther has the opportunity to claim 9 months and three days to do pretty much nothing...Why have I not discovered this before????? I pretty much have one special day out of the year to not change a diaper (which I actually did do today), to lay around and relax...Never again will I take for granted fathers day

OUCH!!!

Well, we got Dollywood passes this year and have already been twice. Micah LOVES the place, and he LOVES the Roller Coaster that he can ride. He wants to ride the bigger ones, but that day will come (and Derek cannot wait!!!) We have uploaded some videos and pics to our facebook, but I just had to share one here.

Katelyn is 9 months old...yesterday and then some....

Katelyn turned 9 months old on Monday, March 16. She smiled great for a few pictures, just wait and see! The only other thing I can think to post is we are expecting another child. I know, I know, it was a shock to me. We had so much trouble between Micah and Katelyn that I guess I just figured it would be the same. It was not. We are excited that Katelyn and this little one will be close, and we are excited to see how the Lord will work in our lives with three!!!! The new baby is due on September 23, but knowing my body, it will not be here until October.....we shall see!!!

It's been a long time!!!

So, I can't even remember the last time I posted...that's bad! Derek turned 30 in January and I threw him a surprise birthday party. I cannot believe it, but he was surprised! Katelyn has turned 8 months old, and will soon be 9 months old. Can I just say it again time flies by way too fast. We have been taking Micah to the Home Depot the first Saturday of every month to their Kid's workshops. He has loved it, and he does a great job. Today, we built a race car track, and he did most of the hammering. I am really proud of him.
