Today was my sleep in day which is a treat I look forward to all week. So after my great morning I came down stairs to find Daddy cutting Colton's hair again. It does look so cute even though I miss his bleached out blonde hair. Anyways I asked Brian how Colton ate this morning for breakfast because he really doesn't eat very much so we both try to keep track and make sure he eats for one meal of the day. Brian replied he did pretty good, I put ice cream in his cereal because I wanted him to eat. I just smiled inside and thought only Daddy could think of something so clever for breakfast.
A couple other tid bits... Colton hit a ball with his bat the other day. He did it twice. I haven't seen him make contact again but he stands with his bat and will have anyone pitch to him so he can swing. He has started to say watch, there you go, one, and neechi. They all don't sound perfect by any means but after a while with him Jill could decipher a thank you and there you go so I am counting them as words. Thanks Aunt Jill.

Kenneth Kip Kugler walk's the famous walk!
We have had a busy couple of weeks. It started with my little brother Kipper graduating from college. It was very exciting to attend his commencement and scream and yell for him as they said his name. After graduation we attended his graduation party. Here is Isaac, Jenne, Josh, and Jilla showing up for the bash!
Also in town was Brian's Dad and little brother and sister. They were great to have in town and jumped in on the water volleyball game. Everyone played hard and had a great time. I love having them in town because I get to have my little sister with me. She is growing so fast and is so sweet.
My highlight of the party was the spider man bounce house. I love these things! It was so hot out that we put the water in it so it was a slippery bouncy house of fun. Colton loved the slide and actually loved getting bounced around a bit. Kashus loved bouncing but not the slide so much. It was so great to have everyone together. Tuesday, May 13, 2008

Hangin out with Mom
Colton playing with his caterpillar. He was so cute I just started snapping away. I think he might have been posing for me because he let me take a lot of pics before he came investigating the camera.
Getting Jiggy
He is just so cute. I am not sure what is on his face... I think it was jam from our toast.
Bruiser
I missed catching Colton's first goose egg, but here is his first fat lip. He was bending down to pick up a book and knocked his mouth on the shelf. Ouch. His tooth went all the way through his lip. Of course I was panicking and anxious when my little guys mouth was full of blood. I tried to remain calm and look for his teeth. They were all there. Then I made Daddy call our friend Paula who is a Dental Hygienist, she said as long as there isn't any part of his teeth in the hole in his lip he will be fine, save the E.R. for the real emergencies. I am so glad I got her great advice because it healed so fast and really didn't bother him. Yes I was ready to rush him in. Rookie.

We finally get a Princess!
Meet my new neice! My brother and his wife are expecting a little girl in October. We are all very excited! I think it is great that I am her favorite Auntie seeing as how I lost Isaac and Josh after 10 minutes with Aunt Jill on the Coast. All I can say Aunt Jill it's on like Donkey Kong! Congratulations Kip, Erin, and Kashus on your new addition!
