Girls Night Out~New Moon Premiere

Well, I am a little behind schedule......as always. But here are some pics from our Girls Night for the Midnight Premiere of New Moon. It was FABULOUS!!! I thought it was 100 times better than the first. We had a blast. We had a bigger group this year.....the original 3 (Crystal Taylor, my niece Brittany, and myself), my friend from work-April Peterson, Brittany's friends-Casie, Britney, and Kayleigh. I had my mom pick me up at the theater and left my car there so we had a good parking spot close to the doors. My niece and her friends went right at 5:00 and sat in line.  Later, Dustin dropped April and I off. We waited in line for MAYBE 5 minutes and then they let us in....IT WAS AWESOME!!! We didn't have to wait outside and freeze our bums off.....thanks to Britt's friends, we got a wonderful seat to watch Twilight prior to the premiere. We all had a blast and I have actually seen it again since the premiere....hehehe---and, knowing me......I will see it again before it leaves theaters!! Here are a few pics of us Twihards! This was April's first midnight movie with our group.  I am so glad that she went with us!! We can't wait until June to go see Eclipse!!!  At least we don't have to wait a whole year again!!!

And like I said before.....I went again since the premiere.  My friend Kristy (Sheets) Trejo and I went the following Saturday.  It was good to hang out with "friend".  I have missed her tons!!!

If any of you haven't gone to see this movie...I HIGHLY recommend that you go.  It is a must see!! I was hoping that it would better than Twilight and they exceeded my expectations.  I am, and always will be, Team Edward, but DANG!!!  Jacob is pretty H-O-T in this movie!!  All I can say is WOW!! But, I still like my vampires that best!!  Thanks girls for the fun night!! We should do it again.....let's say....in 7 months!! See ya'll then!!

HaPPy HaLLoWeeN

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!!   Here are some pictures of Bryson in his costume.  I bet you can't guess what I dressed him up as this year.  Well, I won't keep you guessing......A VAMPIRE!!!  Duh....and I dressed up as Alice Cullen, from my all time favorite....Twilight.  I only got a picture of my face.....but I wore "honey" colored contact, look closely....they tripped my out every time I looked in the mirror because my eyes are a blue-hazel color naturally.  The pictures of Bryson were all that we really were able to get of him, because he would not stand still for one minute....must have been the donuts the he had eaten at Grandma Barron's trunk or treat earlier that day.  I think his costume turned out really cute, but then again, I am super biased!!  There is one of him trick or treating at daddy's work.  I have tried and tried to type under the pictures, but I am too tired and hungry to deal with it now....so you get them all jumbled up!

Bryson's 1st Hair Cut

On October 22nd.....Bryson had his first hair cut.  I waited long enough.  I was convinced to wait until after his he turned one.  Heaven forbid I cut his hair until then!   Hahahaha.  I didn't realize how long his hair was until Lana started cutting it.  The picture above was right before we started cutting.  He had sat on my lap the entire time my hair was getting colored and was a VERY good boy.  He didn't squirm or anything.  Lana had given him a piece of tin foil to play with and he just ripped it up....luckily he didn't think to put it in his mouth.....like he does everything else!  Then she started cutting.....she did a really good job!!  Below are some pics taken of the sad, yet very needed, event.

 

His very first hair cut went really well.  He was such a big boy....I was super proud of him.  And all you curls lovers out there....don't you worry.....he still has them!!  So, I have the curls & I have his hair short enough so I can spike it or faux hawk it.  The sad thing about this is that he doesn't look like a baby anymore.....he is a handsome LITTLE MAN!!!  I love this kid so much!! He is such a blessing in our life!!

Bryson's 1st Birthday Party

Bryson had his 1st Birthday on September 6th. He was born at 4 lbs 12 oz and was 15 1/2 inches long. Now he is 17 lbs 7 oz and is 27 1/2 inches long. He is still on the small side, but his pediatrician said he'll catch up to those his age when he is around 3. We had a great time on his birthday. We had alot of family there.....Great Grandpa Luthi and Great Aunt Tami drove from Wyoming to help celebrate. My brother Kirk and his kids-Brittany and Brookx (minus Angie, she was ill), Grandpa and Grandma Barron, Grandpa and Grandma Brown, Aunt Leesha, Uncle Nick, his babysitter Carrie and her daughter, Jaymie, our friends-The Kofe's all came to have fun with Bryson. We had a BBQ with hamburgers and hot dogs. We ate then opened presents.....then we all ate cake....after Bryson of course. It was a good day, Bryson was spoiled rotten....Grandpa and Grandma Barron built him a toy box and Grandma painted some sport stuff on the lid...it turned out AWESOME. He got clothes and a toy lawn mower (Dustin can't wait to put him to work in the yard...LOL) and a whole bunch of toys to play with. I am so blessed to have my son in my life. I can't imagine my life without him in it. Thanks to all that came and celebrated with us. And thanks for the gifts....Bryson loves them!!

Bryson's First Camping Trip and Jackson Hole

So.....once again....it has been a super long time since I posted. The entire month of August has been C-R-A-Z-Y. Every weekend we had something going on. It started with going with my parents and sister to Jackson Hole, WY and to the Bar J Wrangler. The following weekend was camping with Dustin's family at Coffee Pot in Island Park. Then we had the NICU Reunion the next...and so on and so on. Below are some pics from Jackson and Camping.
Bryson claimed his bed in Grandpa and Grandma Barron's trailer. This kid isn't stupid....this was the best one in the house.....it was the feather bed!! But, I saved them the headache and he slept with me. I will not be sleeping with this bed hog again....at least til next time :)

Bryson discovered the rocks in the tent area. He would get his hand swatted when he tried to put them in his mouth. Then I decided to put the little mitten part of his pj's over his hands so that he couldn't grab the rocks....then he got smart......

He decided to "pretend" to make rock/sand angels and then would put his face in the rocks and come back up with a mouthful of rocks and dirt. YUCK!!

This was before he figured out the whole rock angel technique. It was cute when he was making trails with his covered little hands.

Here's my little rugged cowboy. He has Uncle Nitz's cowboy hat on. He is so cute. It was a quick trip. We got there Friday night around 7:00. When we got there only Mike, Deanne, and Nick were there. But shortly later the rest of the family got there. Dustin's cousin, Cori and his 3 kids, Amanda, Andrew, and Megan.....his other cousin, Cherity and her 2 boys, Michael and Mason, and then his Aunt LaRae were there Friday night. We had a small campfire and then we turned in for the night. IT WAS A BAD NIGHT. Between Bryson and Brogan, Dustin and I each got MAYBE 2 hours of sleep. We decided to leave Saturday evening. We didn't want to have another night like that. Therefore, we probably won't be camping again.....well at least this year. Right after we left Saturday, Dustin's cousin Cari came up with her new husband, Aaron, her 4 kids, Kelsea, Tanner, Brittany, and Courtney and Aaron's 3 kids. WOW....it was a full house!!!

JACKSON HOLE

This is our little family in Jackson Hole with our new friend Bruce the Buffalo. It was cold, but it was a lot of fun spending the day there with my sister!

All of us under the Antler Arch. There must have been something more interesting behind us, because Bryson would NOT look at the camera, the poor tourists who took our picture were trying so hard to get his attention without any luck. My pictures from the Bar J didn't really turn out that well, therefore there are none of that. And we didn't get any from the NICU Reunion either.....I forgot my camera.....DUH!!!

So, like I said before....here are some of Bryson's 10 month pictures. They have been posted on my facebook page for a few days, so some of you might have already seen them, but I can't get enough of my little man!! He was being such a stinker pot....the Saturday shoot that was just of him....we were able to get a few smiles out of him, but not many....our family shoot, the following Tuesday...I don't think we caught one real smile!!! I don't know what was going on with him....and I knew that the evenings was when he is the crankiest....but SERIOUSLY....not one smile?! He was being very selfish with his smiles!! He wouldn't smile for ANYONE....not us, not the camera, his toys, his cousin Brittany....NOT EVEN HIS UNCLE "NITZ".....so, I guess we won't be having an evening photo shoot anytime soon! Anyway, here are a few of them.....we think he's pretty cute, but then again.....who doesn't....LOL.

This was Bryson's very first time in water, other than the bathtub....he wasn't very fond of it at first, but then got used to it and was splashing in the water and having a good time. It was cute! Thanks Lisa again for doing his pictures.

Bryson's 9 Month Pictures

Hello all!!!
My friend Lisa Soucie is a photographer and I had her do Bryson's 9 month pictures. We went to the railroad track by the river, the Pier at Snake River Landing, also the water feature at Snake River Landing, and then back to our house for some studio pictures. She did a great job, although it was like pulling teeth to get him to smile....little stinker!! I think they are so very cute (but once again I am biased)!! Thanks Lisa for taking his pics....and for taking the family pics too....that was an event in itself....Bryson just wasn't having any of that either....I don't think he likes the camera much....probably because he has had a camera in his face since the day he was born....ahhh....it must be horrible to be loved so much!

Bryson, Grass and Slip 'N Slide Fun

I have tried to put Bryson down on the grass a few times, since the weather has been nice.....and he wasn't enjoying it....AT ALL. I would set him down on the grass and as long as his "skin" didn't touch it, he was fine, but if I put him down on his hands and knees, the tears and screaming started coming! It was funny to watch because he would stick one leg straight out, holding up from touching the grass, and once he got his balance, he would do the hand. He don't mean to sound disgusting, but he looked like our dog when Brogan would go to the bathroom and raise one leg....heck, maybe Bryson was trying to copy Brogan...Ha Ha Ha. It was cute and I shouldn't laugh at my son, but it was seriously funny!!
So, on Wednesday, all of our neighbors were hanging out at the Kofe's house and the kids were playing in the kiddie pool and Slip 'N Slide. So, I decided to risk my chance of Bryson crying and put him on the grass. He didn't cry, but he put one foot in the air as if the grass was too hot for his foot to touch it. He then saw the kids and started, slowly, crawling over to the Slip 'N Slide. He actually didn't care that he was getting wet, so I let him play....it was so cute, these are the pics I got....sorry there are so many of him (and they are kinda the same, but it was his first time!!)




We decided to put Bryson on the Slip 'N Slide, but he didn't like it so much and started to cry a bit....

So we took him off and put him on the grass again...then, sure enough.....he started crawling over to the Slip 'N Slide again....silly kid...I think he liked the water more than the slide.

Here, he is drinking the water.....like Brogan....geez, he chews the coffee table, holds his leg up like he is peeing when put on the grass, now drinks like Brogan....wow, our puppy is influencing Bryson more than we know!!

Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice so that we can continue to play outside! We had fun playing in the water....Thanks everyone for letting us play!!

Uh-Oh!!

I was in the kitchen one day making Bryson a bottle....and the next thing I heard was a crash and Bryson crying....I went around the counter island and this is what I found (only Bryson was laying on his back with the bowl holder on top of him).

I had to get him out of the water, or else he would be in the picture (let's just say he was UP-SET!!) Below are the wet pajamas that I took him out of after the incident and then him.....crawling back into the kitchen (he looks a little irritated that I am still snapping pictures of him in his diaper). LOL...it was kind of funny!! I just love our little guy!


Maybe now he will leave Brogan's food dish alone....but most likely not!!

Let's Play Catch Up

It seems like forever since I posted last.....well, because it has!! Geez! It has been crazy around our house. Here is what has happened the last month or so. We will back up to May 15th, 2009. That was the night that we had our Twilight Party. It was a BLAST!! We had dinner, played Twilight games and watched the movie. During the night....Bryson woke up crying and was inconsolable. I noticed that he was so HOT....we took his temperature and sure enough, he had a high fever. We thought he was just sick because he had been battling a cold all week. The next day I was playing with him and noticed a little itty bitty tooth. HE CUT A TOOTH!!!! It was his bottom, middle one. So cute. He still was sick later that day, so we took him to the Dr. and he has Bronchitis and a double ear infection! HOLY HANNAH....poor kid had a rough time!! Later that week he got a tummy bug, and then the following weekend....he cut another tooth, the other middle bottom one.

He had his 9 month check up 2 weeks ago and he weighs a whopping 16 LBS and is 24 inches long...just a little guy!! The doctor said he looks good, other than the eczema that he has under his chin and neck, but hopefully he will out-grow that. His OT (occupational therapist) said that she would like him to have his eyes checked because his neck isn't tight anymore from the Torticolis, but he still favors the one side, so she is wondering if he has double vision or something. So our Pediatrician referred us to Dr. Affleck and we go see him on June 29th. He has a follow up hearing test this week....hopefully things are still good :)

Since he started crawling....he just goes EVERYWHERE and gets into EVERYTHING!! He does not like to be told NO...he has a temper, and I hate to admit, he gets that from me....his daddy is the most easy-going, patient person I know....so there is no way he got the temper from him. He is pulling himself up on standing....the OT wants him to be walking along side the couch and coffee table within the next few weeks....and the way he is going, I think he can meet that goal.

He will be having his 9 month pictures taken this next Saturday, so I will have some to post soon. He is getting so cute and his smile and laugh are so infectious. Anyone who has been around Bryson know how his smile goes from ear to ear and his laugh is like music to the ears. At least to his family's ears....we love him so much and can't remember what life was like without him. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives and he was so worth the wait!!
