Movie of the Year

Saw this...

and LOVED it.

It is by far the best movie I have seen this year.

It might possibly have moved its way into my top 5.

I loved every minutes of it.

Last thursday night I joined this lovely bunch of ladies...

to listen to the musical awesomeness of Miss Kelly Clarkson.
And I must say I loved every minute of it.

There is something about angry
(passionate might be a better word)
music that I just love.

But seriously... I don't think she gets enough credit. Not only is she a fun pop-star artist with a lot of angst and man hating vibe but the girl can sing! She did a couple of cover songs that blew me out of the water. I want to be her when I grow up.

Dear Jillian

I know you were under a lot of pressure but you made the wrong choice. For future reference, always ALWAYS choose the boy wearing the chucks.

(and its probably not a good idea to choose the boy wearing shorts shorter than yours, pink shirts, and crosses his legs)

The one with the 12 pack abs probably would've been a good choice too.

Side note: Ross and Rachel= so many great kisses. They could possibly the best on-screen kissers of all time. There were a few scenes that I could choose from but this was my all time favorite.

This kiss is not that great. In fact its pretty awkward BUT I love this scene with all my heart. I love this movie mainly because I love this scene.

Before this summer I had only been there 1 time. This summer I went two weekends in a row and this past weekend I was going through withdrawals.

I have been on a lot of fun vacations in my life but Lake Powell Trip #2 is WAY up there on my list. It was everything that I love to do.

#1. Road trip with a car full of

interesting

and fun people.

#2 Boat rides

with some of my

besties

the music blasting, laughing, and dancing.

#3. Playing in the water...

whether it was cliff jumping, wake-boarding, wake-surfing, or just lounging around in the water.

#4. Hanging out on the boat with

good food,

fun games,

and of course dancing.

#5. Doing all this with possibly the best group of girls that I know.

#6. Feeling like I left a vacation with

Boom Boom Powell

This past weekend Adrienne and I headed out to Lake Powell to meet up with some friends for some fun in the sun.  It was an amazing weekend.  

 

Now I am on my way to Lake Powell Part II!!

Happy Birthday Krissy!!

Today is my mothers birthday and I wanted to publicly thank her for being the best mother ever!  Some one just asked me about my mother and I told them she was the coolest lady ever. 

 Which if you think about it is true.  

   

What other women works in her yard everyday with her red boots that she got from a garage sale?  

What other lady is such a strong person yet cries at just about everything (a trait that she passed on to all her children... include Jason)? 

What women starts a gigantic food fight at girls camp when she was camp director?

My mom loves to travel, play games, the gospel, her family, and likes to do just about anything that is fun and taught her children to love all these things too.  She is the perfect mix of sweet without babying.  The older I get the more I realize pretty much anything that is cool about me I get from my mom.  So thanks! I love you mom!

Should I read this?

So I am reading "The Posionwood Bible"  and I am currently on about page 100... and am bored out of my mind.  This book was recommended by so many. For those of you who have read it should I keep reading?  Does it get better?  Cause I am about ready to throw in the towel and move on to the next book.  Let me know what you guys think...

1st time for everything

Tonight I went to my first full hour spin class... That stuff is legit. 

A few of my favorite things

1.  My number one favorite thing in the world to do is dance.  In my room, in the car, or at a club... it doesn't matter.  Like Lady Gaga says... "Just dance."

2. Play games. I pretty much love every game (with the exception of a few such as... egyptian rat-screw, balderdash, and madden-foot ball).

3. Swimming.  I pretty much love everything that has to do with water. In the ocean, in a pool, or a lake.  I love it all!!

4. Snowboarding.  I have been thinking a lot about snowboard season lately... I am already excited for the snow!

5.  These two were a toss up.  Because I almost equally love Snowboarding and Surfing. I love the ocean.  Catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the world. 

6. I love to bake. Thats all. 

7.  I love to run and pretty much any type of physical exercise.  

8. I love to go out to eat and catch up with friends.  Nothing beats good food and good conversation. 

9. I love to read.  I love the feeling of totally losing myself in a book.

10. There is something incredibly therapeutic about crocheting and knitting.   

 

Depending on the day will effect the order in which these would fall.  But these are some of my favorite things to do.
