Hello Again

Wow, it's been so long since my last post that blogger looks completely different. I guess a 6+ month break is too long? I'm not even going to attempt to play catch up, but maybe as time goes on I'll fill in the gaps. So here is a post about today. It is gorgeous, 75 degrees, amazing Fall colors everywhere, and my kids have croup. Luckily, they were feeling well enough to get outside and take a "Fall Walk". We've lived 5 minutes away from this lovely park for over two years, and for some reason we've only recently discovered it.

There are lots of stone bridges and pathways through the park
There are also lots of geese. Owen the photographer, taking after Grandpa Dahl
Kate had no fear whatsoever, and went
marching into the middle of this gaggle causing some of them to hiss.
Is it just me, or is it weird to see goose tongues?
Kate ran up and down each bridge at least a dozen times
So many huge leaves. We could have raked an amazing pile.
Some weird roots from a nearby tree, they were popping up out of the ground all along the bank.
Throwing rocks and leaves. Our favorite game of the day was "sink a leaf" where we would throw little rocks onto big leaves that were floating in the water to see if the rock would sink the leaf or not.
Owen discovered cool a hole in the bottom of this tree, and announced it by saying "I made an interesting discovery!" He said it smelled bad in there.

Probably making some kind of "observation" or "discovery"

Why hello!:) Good to see you and back blogging again. I took a 3 month break at one point as well and when I had gotten back, blogger was changed at that point and I felt like I didn't know how to do somethings that once came easy to me. Had to relearn a few things! A Don't know if I like the new version, but what can I do...Anyway, what a great park! Loved seeing the pictures of your kids. They have grown so much and are such cuties! Hope life is going good for you Leanne!
