Trash to Treasure?

So I cleaned out my closet (which is one of the great pleasures in my life;) and had a bunch of shade shirts to get rid of. I had them all ready to haul off to the D.I. when I had an idea. Here is what I came up with...






What I need to know is if they are cute? I wouldn't call myself crafty but I like to do little things here and there. Tell me what you think before I send my kid into the world wearing one. Thanks!
