Lots of stuff going on here! Aquarium, zoo, birthday celebrations, fun stuff! What cute kids these are! We should have taken a picture with the grown-ups, so put that on the list for next time.

Jane's Birthday Party
I made a commitment to do better at birthdays. Then I did this party for Jane and ended up with a migraine and didn't do anything for the other kids. :( BUT it was adorable and she had a great time!
A Tale of Two Summers Ago (Uh, actually three summers ago . . . )
Can you remember what was going down two summers ago? We can! Water balloon friends, broken leg, swim lessons, cuteness.
Boy Stuff that we all like
We read a library book called Backhoe Joe about a backhoe that is a lot like a dog and follows a little boy home and digs in the flowerbed and other adorableness. So now, every backhoe (or any excavation equiptment that's orange) is called "Backhoe Joe." Or as Jonny says, "Back'nJoe." When we're driving, we all excitedly point out when we see a backnjoe. I catch myself doing it when I'm alone in the car, too . . . it's very exciting. Especially with all the construction and road work going around our neighborhood at the moment.
Claire's preschool had a field trip to the fire station! It was very educational!
I, personally, learned an astonishing amount about how it all works.
Jonny was a HUGE fan of the entire experience.
We learned to not be afraid of this guy. It was a great success!
