First Annual FRIENDS Garage Sale!

I'm almost positive that I can speak for everyone (Jodi, Jody, Amber, Anne, and Jackie) when I say...garage sales make you tired! However, getting up at 6:00 on Friday and Saturday doesn't seem that bad when you are raking in all types of dough!
We came up with the awesome idea to get all of our stuff together and have a two day garage sale at my house this weekend. Great idea! We sold so much on the first day, that we all had to go home and find more stuff, so that we would be able to have a presentable garage sale the following day! We had a blast and each of us made quite a bit of money.
From upgrading their seats to first class for their trip to Mexico (Anne), to having some spending cash for her 30th birthday this coming weekend (Amber), to paying for her maternity pictures (Jodi), to help purchase tickets to hurricane harbor (Jackie), to support their baby girl's college fund (Jody), and last but not least, pay for the painting of our house (Crystal), all of our goals have been met!
We ended up making somewhere around $1300 dollars. The saying is definitely true...someone else's trash is someone else's treasure! Can't wait for next year girls!

Savannah can OFFICIALLY crawl!

Almost 8 months and Savannah can officially crawl from one end of the room to the next. Look out world...here she comes!!! She has been working so hard on crawling! I have never seen anything like it! The girl wants to move so bad! Now that we have crawling down, she is CONSTANTLY pulling herself up on things. You name it, Miss Independent likes to stand up tall! She is head strong like her mother...hehe. 5/22/2009 - We went from this....

to 5/30/2009 crawling EVERYWHERE!!!

Surprise Mom and Dad....

I know how to wake up from a dead sleep and stand up in my crib now!!!! I got my camera ready, turned the corner and took a picture without pre-warning her! Probably wasn't the nicest thing for me to do! hahaha!!!
First time to stand up in crib...
Scared Savannah to death with the flash of the camera!

Graduation Night

This past Friday, we all gathered at the church to watch my youngest sister graduate from high school. When I think about that moment, 9 years ago, I remember that being the most bittersweet night of my life. I was overjoyed that I graduated, but VERY sad that I was leaving my comfort zone to go off into the world "alone". It seems as if things are different now. My sister can't WAIT to be graduated. Actually, both of my little sisters couldn't WAIT to be graduated and grown up doing their own thing. With that being said, I just hope that my youngest sister realizes that on Friday night, that was the beginning of the rest of her life. There are so many things that she can do with her life. So many choices to be made. So many decisions to make. So many right or wrong options to choose from. I just hope that she takes her upbringing and the things that she has been taught at home and in church and uses them to make the right decisions.
When all is said and done, the only thing that really matters is your relationship with God and with your family. There are so many decisions that you can make to hinder either of the two relationships, but on the other hand, there are so many decisions that you can make to keep the two relationships strong. My wishes are, Jenny, that you focus on yourself and your goals, and rid yourself of any obstacles that may come in your way to obstruct you from gaining the prize at the finish line. I love you, Jenny!

Memorial Day & Aunt Jen Jen's graduation party

On Monday night, Jeremy, Savannah, and I hosted a Memorial Day/Graduation party for Aunt Jen Jen. I cooked some quesadillas, queso, and chips and hot sauce. Not to brag, but the food was GREAT! I can't believe that my little sister is graduating?! Here are some pictures of the party. The graduate and Savannah Pre partying in her bathing suit eating cheerios! HERO decorations... Stealing Emma's sticks. Savannah LOVES splashing her feet in the water. Preparing the graduate some food! All I can say is...YUM!

Happy Memorial Day!

Lord...be with the leaders today and let them know that the greatness of America hinges on the blessings of God.

Aunt Jen Jen's Baccalaureate

Today, me and my whole family loaded up and took a trip to Holliday for Aunt Jen Jen's Baccalaureate. There were only about 20 of the kids that were graduating there. I was kinda disappointed in the turn out. I guess no one even cares about that stuff anymore. Kinda sad. However, the service was great!
Anyways, we took some great pictures when it was over!

Maycie's FIRST birthday party!

Here are just a few hundred of the pictures that we took this weekend at Maycie's first birthday party! I was going to narrow it down and just put the highlights of the weekend, but how can you do that when there are so many good ones! Our best friend, Lauren came into town with her sister and PRECIOUS little girl Bryn! Saturday flew by, but it was fun while it lasted!
We started off the day by meeting Lauren at the Morris house at 11:00 for some quick pics of the girls (future best friends, roommates, sorority sisters, you name it). Then we headed out to Papa Joe and Nana's house for the big birthday party! It was a hit! Jody, you did a great job on the party! Bouncers, cupcakes, kids, and gifts...great job!
This was the first time that Savannah, Bryn, and Maycie have all three been around each other at the same time. Let me tell you...it was PRICELESS! How cool is it that your very best friends all have babies around the same age. Bryn 14 months, Maycie 12 months, Savannah 8 months. The three girls were so funny around each other! They each have their own little personalities! I can't wait to watch them grow up together and become life long friends...just like their mothers!
Little Crystal, Little Lauren, & Little Jody!
