MFT Color Challenge

I have wanted to participate in MFT Challenges for quite some time now. I finally got a chance to make a card for this weeks challenge.
I subscribe to Jennifer McGuire's blog and a couple of weeks ago she made a cat card that I just loved so I had to buy the cat set I Knead You just for this cat that I love - he's so cute!
So this isn't an original card, I copied the design from Jennifer McGuire.  You can see her cat card here.

Here is my take on the card using the MFT colors.  I am still acquiring the MFT inks and cardstock so I had to use other cardstock except for the Coral Crush.

Alice's Baby Blessing

Alice was blessed on February 8th at Lyndie & Nates' home. Alice isn't supposed to be around a lot of people quite yet. This one of my mom and Alice is so special to me.  They have both been through so much the past several months. This was the first time my mom saw Alice.

Four generations :)

All of our family together. This always makes me happy.

Alice looked so pretty in her blessing dress.

 Sweet little Lissy girl.

Christmas with our Whole Family

We had a nice Christmas together as a family. This is the first year we didn't go to our parents on Christmas. With our growing family we decided it would be nice to home.
Just before everyone was leaving we got our first family picture of all 9 of us.  Alice was not happy and Callie was checking out my hair, but at least we were altogether in a picture.

I went a little wild on buying clothes for Callie and Alice.  They were so fun to buy for.

Alice Finally Gets to Come Home!

After 98 days in the NICU Alice was finally able to come home on November 16th.  Lyndie & Nate had to spend the night before in a private room with Alice so they could practice caring for her and her special needs.

This day was long awaited and we were so grateful for all the loving care the doctors and nurses gave to Alice.

Carmen was one of our favorite nurses and we were glad she was there when Alice got to go home.  She had to wear a gown and be the one to take Alice downstairs and put her in the car.

Below is Lyndie holding Alice in her own bedroom at home.  She was originally due on November 26th which made her able to come home 10 days before her due date.

Halloween 2014

On the morning of Halloween we went down to the hospital to see Alice. We were able to hold her in her private little room.  We definitely got our "Treat" that day.

I bought a pumpkin at Walmart and told Jandie and Colin they needed to carve a pumpkin this year so they could get a picture of Callie by it. We always did this with our kids as they grew up.

Cute little Callie in her Minnie outfit.

Callie's Baby Blessing - October 2014

Callie 2 months old and Alice in the NICU.

I took some family pictures of Jandie, Colin and Callie in October.
Alice continues to grow and progress in the NICU.

Callie was blessed by Colin at a special baby blessing over at the Magleby's on October 12th.
Four generations on the Magleby side.
Four generations on the Norman side.
Our family minus little Alice who was still in the NICU at the time.
Colin's family less Blake who was still on his mission.
Callie was almost 3 months old on her blessing day.

Blog Catch Up - April-August

Callie is growing right up. She's already in her 3 month clothes. Love this sweet little girl!

Lyndie in the NICU visiting her sweet tiny baby Alice.

I love this picture of Cole with Callie.

With all that was going on with my knee surgery, Alice's early arrival and other things we didn't get a chance to sing Happy Birthday to Jandie and Nate till the Sunday after their birthdays.  I wanted to decorate their cakes but it just didn't happen.

Nate turned 26 and Jandie turned 21

Callie - 5 weeks old

Our tiny baby Alice likes to rest her feet outside of the little area she's in. Such cute tiny feet.

Lyndie had baby Alice on 8-11 at 5:51 am at just 24 1/2 weeks pregnant after an emergency C section.
Baby Alice was only 1 lb. 11 oz. and 13" long.  She has a long road ahead in the NICU. We are grateful she made it through and is still here with us. We love you baby Alice!

I'm so grateful I got this picture when I did. This picture was just hours from Lyndie going into labor from an abruption and having baby Alice.

Callie almost a month old.

My first photo shoot with Callie.

The new little Magleby family.

Baby Callie after she was all cleaned up. Look at those cute little bows in all that dark hair!

Annette Pulley was Jandie's nurse. She was awesome and ended up delivering Callie since the doctor didn't make it in time.

Jandie gets to hold Callie for the first time.

Callie Annette Magleby was born on 7-14 at 5:16 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21" long.

Lyndie had her ultrasound on the July 10th and found out she is having a girl!  I guessed a boy - that makes 2 out of 2 wrong......

Colin celebrated his 22nd birthday with a cheesecake.  We thought for sure baby Callie was going to be born on her daddy's birthday, but nope....

Lyndie 4 months pregnant. She's starting to show.

Jandie 9 months pregnant.  Any day now........

Karen's family came up for the 4th.  Jacie and Jimmy got engaged on the 3rd. They are getting married in November.

I did a little maternity photo shoot with Jandie on afternoon.  We're all excited for baby Callie to arrive.

We celebrated Cole's 28th birthday on Father's Day since he would be in Oregon/Washington on his birthday.

Jandie 8 months pregnant.

Jandie's baby shower was combined with Colin's sister's bridal shower at the end of May.  They got lots of nice stuff.
