Christmas Day

Christmas 2011 is one I will NEVER forget.  My kids are at the perfect ages.  So full of the spirit and magic of Christmas.  They were very excited to come down and see what Santa had left us.

Wearing their new pj's they opened Christmas Eve night.

When they came down the stairs they were VERY excited to see that Santa had left them a PUPPY!!! (There is a way cute video I posted to FB)  At first the kids were a little confused wondering whose dog it was until they realized Santa had actually left it for THEM.

Kylee and the puppy were instant friends.  She kept saying "We have a dog!"

She is a mini Schnauzer and has been a lot of fun (so far).
We decided to call her Minnie.

I got a snowboard and am waiting patiently for it to snow more so I can go.  Seriously we have been lacking this winter on the snow.  :(  Hope we have some awesome storms soon.

There were other fun presents we got, but of course the highlight of the day was getting Minnie.

I really did not want a dog.  Only because we don't have a fenced yard and I work all day and I just didn't want to have to worry about taking care and training a puppy.  My kids were too good this year and Santa had to grant them their wish and I must say I'm very glad he did.  She has already brought so much joy to my kids and she is an amazingly sweet and smart dog.

I didn't do Christmas cards this year, but I hope each of you out there know how much I love you and how grateful I am to have you in my life.

HOPE YOU HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always a little crazy.  We don't like to miss out on any parties, so we frantically try to make it to both.  Luckily Brent and Larry start their party early enough we are able to make it happen.
Every year I am so amazed at their house.  It is awesome and so festive.

Of course we did the big ball game and it was a riot.  So fun for the kids.

After a fun party with the Cogdill's we headed down to Bountiful just in time to play Bingo with the Hebdon's.

We sang songs and shared memories of our favorite Christmas's as well as read the story of the Savior's birth from the Scriptures.  It was a pretty perfect day full of family, food, and the true Christmas Spirit.  When we were leaving my Grandma's Cannon looked up to the sky and notices a red light and shouted "It's Rudolph's nose!"  It was so cute.  We hurried home and the kids went right to bed knowing that Santa was definitely close by.

Hardware Ranch

Last year when the Cosper's were here we had such a fun time at Hardware Ranch that we decided to make another trip out there this year again.  This time we brought my neice Sabrina along with us.
Both Cannon and Sabrina fell asleep on the ride there.  So sweet.

Cannon wanted to pet the horses.

There wasn't as much snow this year, which also meant there weren't as many Elk as normal since they still had a lot of mountain to be on.  It was still a fun time and the kids were very good and had a great time.

This is The Place Heritage Park

Another family tradition of ours during the holiday season is to walk around This Is The Place Heritage Park.  Luckily Donny was a caroler there again this year and so we were able to not only enjoy the festivities but also enjoy him singing us festive songs.
My kids LOVE seeing the live reindeer.  This year Comet and Cupid were there to say hi.
The place has so many fun things for the kids to do.
Like arts and crafts...

puppet shows...

train rides...

a live nativity, a dance hall, and many other things I didn't take pictures of.

Last year neither one of my kids would sit on Father Christmas's lap.
This year Cannon was brave and went for it.  He had to think hard about what to ask him for Christmas.  It was so darn cute.  I love that sweet little boy.
What a fun night.

Temple Square

Like millions of other people we make it a point to be sure to get to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights and enjoy the wonderful Christmas spirit during the holiday season.

It's always more fun to ride the "train" down to SLC.
Of course all the kids wanted to sit by Aunt Em.

Cute cousins

Cute Sisters
(Tonya - why were you not in this pic?!?)

I love my family and I love Temple Square.

Eisenbarth Family Christmas Party

Everyone loves Aunt Em.

Cannon LOVED, LOVED, LOVED his rocket set from Uncle Cody.
Kylee really wanted a dog for Christmas.  Aunt Ranae came pretty close by giving her this Fur Real cat.  She open and closes her eyes, purrs, and walks and sits.  Almost like a real pet but I can turn her off and throw her in the toy chest when she's driving me crazy.  ;)

Kylee got my mom's name.  She was very excited to give Grandma her present.  She gave her one of her school pictures in a frame.  Just before my mom opened it Kylee said "It's something VERY special Grandma."  and then just as she was opening it she yelled "IT'S ME!!!"  She cracks me up.

Cannon couldn't wait to try out the rocket set and wouldn't put the rockets down even after he was too cold to be outside anymore.

I love my niece Sabrina.  She is a special spirit for sure.

Cannon gave Cody about 10 hugs for his rocket set.  He was one happy boy.

I'm so grateful for my sweet family.
