walking - talking -laughing tour - part 2

As Beth and I continue to walk off the equivalent calories of an avocado (yep, that's what we burned off-it's what the app on my phone said anyway) We picked streets with lots of great eye candy.

Red brick, always a favorite of mine!

What a great front porch on the cape cod above.

I recommend flower boxes on #50 . Can't you just see them.

This little American flag flying house really speaks to me for some reason. It just says QUAINT!

 Cute little side entrance.

wants everyone to know this is her favorite house!
It was huge, she likes 'em big I guess.

It's always good to dress your garden gnome in the appropriate holiday apparel.

It's officially spring! This yard was full of crocus.

Happy Monday! Big news from the cul-de-sac coming soon!

walking - talking - laughing

I'm a lucky girl to call this very funny lady Beth my friend! And now we are walking partners too! We've been meeting a few times a week to walk a mini marathon. Hey 3 miles is a big deal to us!!  We are good partners because we keep the same pace, have some good laughs  AND  like to look at similar things! On Friday Beth suggested we mosey over to Chocolate Town USA and walk the beautiful streets of this lovely town.
So come along on our 3 mile journey.....
The backside of this home is just as lovely as the front. (In case you are wondering, Beth & I look good from the front and back too. Especially when I'm wearing my super sexy shape-up sneakers.....NOT! They are a very unattractive pair of sneakers but I think they are working, honest. )

Storybook cottage, my dream!

Love the little detail on the shutters.

Love the front door!

Here we are, only half way through this walk. This post is so big it needs a part 2 tomorrow. So stay tuned... The Beth and Steph walking tour just might be coming to your neighborhood, watch for us!

recovering

 13 hours in the car

endless hours of fun

spending way too much money on gas

home to dirty dishes, dirty clothes and no food in the house

and cranky kids who lost an hour of sleep this weekend

not so much fun

need some time to recover

Happy Monday!
