A ship is transporting a group of convicts from England to Australia. The convicts are somewhat... disrespectful of authority and a few knives smuggled aboard make them a real threat to the crew. The captain can only defuse the situation by trusting a murderer to help him.

A young man is sowing a few not-so-wild oats before going out to college when he finds himself helping a beautiful woman escape assassins. It's painfully obvious to anyone other than the naive young man that the woman is playing him, but this actually makes the episode even more fun to hear.

Three men and a woman are stranded aboard a derelict ship drifting randomly across the sea. A chest full of gold keeps them company, which makes some of them think that a four-person crew is at least two too many.

An American reporter trying to through war-torn China to Shanghai becomes unknowingly involved in a plan to smuggle an important document into that same city. As is typical of scripts by John and Gwen Bagni, this story interweaves great characters with a strong story.
