9 Months

Eliza is crawling, not scooting, and getting into everything! She is getting really good at getting under your feet faster than you can blink. And her favorite place to play is in the kitchen when you are making dinner. She hates to be alone, in fact she is perfectly content to play by herself but only if you are in the room with her and on the same level...LOL... She just follows me around all day just to hang out! I figure this stage may not last very long so I should enjoy it while it lasts!

'Liza's 9mo well baby check was today... no shots YESSS!!! she is 16lbs 6oz, 27.5 in long and 44.5cm head... which translates to 10% weight, 50% height, and 75% head... so she has a big head... (thanks Waite genes). Other than that the Dr. says everything checks out well. She has been really sick the last few weeks with a tummy bug. and then a few days ago she got the "cold before the teeth" and so the process of sleep has not happened in two, maybe three days, I don't know at this point I just know I'm tired. So hopefully she will hurry up and cut those two teeth and get better!

Vacation!!!

Soooo here is our vacation... the scrapbooked pages are the ones I did on the drive home, the ones that aren't scrapbooked I just haven't got to yet... so enjoy!
ALSO before you get too far into this I give GREATEST thanks and props to Justin, Jamie, and Lexi for putting up with us for the week! Thank you thank you thank you!!! (saddly I must ask why on earth we didn't take pictures of the Lexi and Eliza, we both had cameras!? oh well next time)

This was us packing our bags on Friday... we were supposed to get the house cleaned up as well but that just didn't happen. I had the most adorable distraction ever!!!

We left around 6ish on Saturday morning and drove straight to Provo where we left Eliza with her aunts and uncles while we went to the temple with Rachel. Eliza did great in the car and I give my props to the person who invented the portable DVD player to keep my 8.5 month old entertained!!
Sunday we got to do lots of visits! Eliza met her Great Great Grandma, Grandma Hardy! It took a little while for her to warm up to Grandma Hardy but once she did it went very well.
Then we had dinner with Mallory and Evan! Mallory made some AWESOME mexican food that we all enjoyed. (Mallory anytime you want to cook for me please feel free!!!)
Monday included a trip to Bridal veil falls, which we aquired that great baby-backpack for (thank you Ben even if you did have to talk me into it I really love it)
The water was REALLY cold! and the rocks were sharp but that didn't stop us from playing in it! Even Eliza stuck her toes in!

Then there was dinner with the Clark's (old family friends of mine!) We had a wonderful evening and Eliza LOVED the ice cream we let her have... well at least some of it because apparently most of it ended up on her face!

Tuesday was a great day but being the irresponsible mother I forgot to take the camera so there are no pictures. SAD:-( We were in charge of getting Lindsay from the airport and so we stayed in SLC and walked around Temple square and went to the childrens museum. The childrens museum was lots of fun. I think I played more than Eliza did but she really did enjoy the toddler area that was fenced off and well padded. (again sorry there are no pictures! I'm a little bitter about it if you can't tell). Cynthia Gale took some great family pictures that evening and all was well. Eliza was exhausted when we finally put her in bed!

Wednesday was the wedding and all that includes that! The Bigler's (my mom's younger sister) came for the wedding and this is Megan (the youngest and sorry if I misspelled your name) with Eliza. She was one of the few people who Eliza actually let hold her without crying! The whole day was so busy, luncheons and reception... it was all great and I'm going to be even happier when the reception in CO is over as well! And then all the wedding stuff will be over... at least for a little while!
