Well another week has gone by... Eliza is now 4 weeks old and just as happy as can be (between the hours of 5am and 6pm)... Sleep is apparently not a priority in her world like it is in ours! Actually all kidding aside she does really pretty well through the night. She's up usually only twice to eat and she eats and goes right back to sleep. The hard part is initially getting her to go to sleep. She seems to time her "fussy time" directly before bed so If this is going to be a head's up for what bed time is going to be like as she gets older then we're in for a real challenge :-)

We had a wonderful Christmas spending time with the Waite's and the Merritt's. Eliza was spoiled just as we expected. Grandma Waite got her a really fun fiber-optic light she just loves to watch while I'm cleaning house and Grandma Merritt got her a Princess flashlight (what a daddy's girl) Ben and I got her a cover for her car seat (practical and boring but she has Grandma's for the cool stuff). I got Ben an FM trasmitter for his Zune and some DVDs and a really cool Lego set! Ben got me a wallet (much needed when i decided carrying a carseat, purse and diaper bag was not an option) and a Zune!!! I just love it! That was about it for our holiday and we hope that everyone else was just as wonderful as ours

Today was Ben and my aniversary!! can you believe it's already been a year! that is crazy! We left Eliza with Grandma Merritt and Ben took me out for a nice quiet dinner. It was great! Thats all the news we have now so enjoy the new year!

This past weekend Ben, Eliza and I all went to Ben's work party and Eliza got to meet Santa Claus and Mrs Santa Claus!! She was just wide awake for the whole party and took some great pictures. Ben and I are really enjoying the new parent life. Ben sleeps through most nights and I get to have Eliza all to myself. She's a really good sleeper and has a very predictable eating schedule. She's such a happy baby and all the grandparents and aunts and uncles are loving her to bits!

This is of my parents when they were expecting Lindsay...hence the reason that I wanted the other one with Ben and myself... I'm pretty sure she was farther along than me when they did theirs But it's going to make a cute pair on my wall.

This was Ben's Birthday present to me for my 21st!!! I'm getting sooo old...hehehe! ;-)
