First Firsts

I took the kids to Octoberfest, which is our square's First Friday this month!  We went early in hopes we could just meet Chad when we got home but, we ended up staying a couple of more hours because of all the fun activities they had for the kids!  My friend made Harry a shirt  and a dress for me so that we would have gear for the game! Her store is on our square and it was a good time to swing by and grab it!
Harr loved fighting the knights! This group of men and women were hard core! They all acted like they really lived in that time period.
 Cupcake walk!
Games and Georgia Kelley had play them too!
Autograph from the Wal-Mart security dog!
 Snack time!

Saturday morning I had to work but, I went ahead and let out and I wass able to squeeze in some of Harry's game! Then we geared up for Harry's first Razorback football game!  It was a treat to be able to take him and his Papa joined us!  Our friends, The McMennamys gave us tickets to the game and we were thrilled to be able to take Harry!  They are so generous and have treated us like family since we started attending church in Bentonville! Although they have moved, we keep in touch well!
Georgia Kelley stayed behind with Sandy but we got a shot before we left her there!
Harry loved tailgating with this best buddy!  Chad and I had fun too hanging out with our Hog loving friends!   I don't have any pictures of the clan.  Harry and Maddox played football the whole time with some other boys! So cute!

I was also so happy to get to see my pregnant friend, Katie!  We didn't get near enough time together!
How fun is this picture?  Harry said his favorite part of the game were the touchdowns! I am pretty sure that he is not alone! HA!

My pal Marilyn!  Oh how I love her!  The man behind me said he has gone to every Razorback game for 60 years!  He said he and his wife have gone ice and rain! He did say it is getting hard to come.  So sweet!

Harry hung on Papa most of the game!

We were all at his beck and call!  Marilyn helped me watch him when he was a baby and I had to go back to work! I think mothering is her second nature!
We had the best time from the tailgating to the end of the game! I did NOT like the traffic afterwards!  Chad came home and re watched plays that he felt he missed being at the game!  He is a true fanatic!

No Cavities.... Yet

Harry has a new love and it is for the DENIST!  I am not even kidding you! I have been dreading this visit like the plague! That is why it didn't bother me we couldn't get in for three months! What won Harry over you ask?  The denist's motorcycle scrubs and the fact that he made Harry feel so special with the frog teeth thing!  He also got to pick out his the toothpaste flavor and wear sunglasses! I have never seen him so still. Then he got a toothbrush, a ball and two stickers! He is still talking about his trip to the denist.  He tells everyone how much he loves his "teeth doctor"!  I know this is for a short time! We are so shocked he enjoyed it so much!  Who would have thought?Georgia Kelley was a good girl too.

Harry isn't Hairy Anymore

Baby needed a trim and ended up getting it all whacked off! I would never had done it if he had not been called a girl three too many times!
A couple of days before the cut; you can see the curls. You can see how happy I am, let's say that is how I felt about his hair before the first hair cut!

He didn't like the water so much!
Paci made him much more relaxed. The outcome. I am not going to say I hate it, but he does look much older than he should. I am getting use to it!

A Friendly Weekend

This weekend was like many of our weekends when we are at home. We spend a lot of time with friends when we are all free. I rarely take pictures but, I had my camera by my side for this particular weekend! Thursday night started off the course of events. Harrison and Lindsey Hicks stayed the night at our house while Emily(sister) babysat all three of these wild tots! Chad and I went to their house to hang out with Matt and Holly. It was a very fun night, we enjoyed it so much that we are having a replay on Friday!
Lindsey and Harry have a love/hate relationship. This is what happens any time they hit each other, they quickly make up! Friday night we tested our luck at the annual Tontitown Grape Festival. The weather was perfect and it was time Harry ventured out to a Redneck Disney World! As you can see, he was quite intimidated.
We enjoyed the night with the Matherlys' and the Halfords'! Having kids the same age makes us all on the same page! Tots first roller coaster. The next 2 pictures ore of Keaton, Elliot, and Emma Grace.

This was my favorite kid ride, the air balloons! Emma Grace rode with us! Poor Chad was too big for all the kid rides!

Of course, we could not miss out on the merry go round, Harry is all about these horses!
Harry's first roller coaster ride! Notice, Jake and his dad are sitting behind us!
Saturday night we were back with the Hicks and the Halfords! I made them pose for a picture because, I knew I was doing a "friendly blog" and did not want them to be left out.
Harry is crazy about Matt. As you can see he and Lindsey are making Matt throw them around, that is how Matt makes friends:)Keaton's dad is going to kill me for posting these but, they are too funny! Keaton was walking in my shoes like a pro! I am still laughing at this picture! Ryan made friends quickly by handing out popsicles! Harry was chasing him around the rest of the night trying to get more!It as an eventful weekend. Melissa Halford took our family pictures a few weeks ago and they are by far the best pictures we have ever had taken! I am can' t wait til her site is up and running!

"Run run as fast as you can, you can't catch Harry....he is the Gingerbread Man!"
