Bikes and Bubbles....boring??

Like the rest of NWA, we spent last week outside! I am one of those mothers who lets their kids do whatever they want!  Well, they get to pick one thing they want to do that day and we work the schedule to make it happen.  It is always the same thing..Harry wants to ride his bike outside and Georgia Kelley wants to read books! I am afraid the winter wishes are going to be a bit more messy! We were outside one afternoon and our darling friends came over with bubbles!

Harry has been having bike issues! Mark my words...we will never buy a used or cheap bike for Harry again! His bike quit us twice in the middle of two trails!  We got him a new bike on Saturday morning and took a trip to the bike park...where he had been wanting to go for three days!  He loved it there!

Georgia Kelley found slides out of the ramps!
Boring...I know these little posts may be a bit borning but, I love them! I love looking back on my blog from when Harry was little and and I wrote about random things we had done during the week! I would have forgotten if I hadn't posted them!  I feel like this blog  has blessed my life and I know my children will enjoy it one day.

Georgia on My Mind

Georgia Kelley has hit the twos in full force and are just hanging on! She is probably the sweetest thing that ever hit our house! She has her quirks but she really does make me smile all the time! Even in the morning when I ask her what she wants for breakfast, she cocks her head, tucks her chin, and with a huge grin she says "ancakes"! It just melts me! She amazes me with the little things she does! Like wanting me to sleep with her!

I took these when she woke up the other morning! Her room was  mess and she had her baby, Tutu, and Mimi(blanket)! She kisses them and treats the like family! Tutu gets to eat with us!

 How sweet is this!
I walked in and found this mess! She was reading to her babies! All her books were pulled out and on her bed! I love me reader!

Then she got excited and fed her babies!
She also get cranky! This is cranky face and she did not want her picture taken!

She helps me do everything in the kitchen! I took the trash out and when I walked in she was trying to put a bag in the can! She is so thoughtful! I am so crazy about this child! I love her to pieces! Georgia Kelley is such a huge blessing to me!

Hot Cocoa/Tea Party

My darling aunt came over last week while she was in town. She and my mom were able to come for just a minute and my aunt brought some hot chocolate for the kids! They were more than eager to drink it so, they decided to have a little cocoa party! My aunt gave me by grandmother's dishes and they came with a tea set! The kids loved the production of it and I loved my kids spending time with my aunt!

Notice the Xmas decor in the wrong place! I got some stuff after Xmas and we were about to take all the rest down, I was throwing it in piles!

Such a fun visit! Harry loves to be goofy!  So funny!

Shallow and Deep Resolutions

What did I do on New Years? I ordered pizza and buffalo wings and stayed at home all weekend by myself sick! I was miserably sick and the family went to Memaw's house! I just couldn't make the trip. I have been home all weekend alone! I watched three movies, read a book, studied, worked, and now that I am feeling better I may get some cleaning done.  I missed spending time with Memaw and Annie. I hate that we all couldn't be together this holiday.  Chad took the kids with Sandy and Harry and I have been getting the best videos all weekend! They seem to have fun without me...imagine that!

Who is to say what is important and what is not important in one's resolution. Some would say to make a resolution to be  skinnier is "shallow" and one would say that to be a "better person" is subjective. I am going to write my resolutions and then you can judge for yourself...this is a blog...everyone judges blogs. That should be a resolution...not to judge! HA!

1. To not be the fattest bridesmaid in my sister's wedding! This includes clean eating and more gym.
2. I feel like 1. interrupts my 2. I love spending time with my kids doing activities and adventures. The best time to do them is during the best gym time. I plan on figuring out how to seize the time I have with my kids and go to the gym daily.  Oh, how I love spending my time with Harry and Georgia Kelley.
3. To constantly pray and model that my kids be a light. That is really all I want. I just want my kids to be a light when they get big.  I am going to work on modelling that more. This may come with some pain. I say pain because I may have to cut some things to keep the darkness out.
4.  To cook more and eat out less.
5. To juggle work and home better.
6. To love on my husband more and make in the center of attention when he gets home.  He seems to make our kids the center of attention when he gets home.
7. To continue my in depth study of the OT. I took all my Bible classes in college on the NT and how to teach children the Bible. Now I am getting this strong foundation on the OT and it is making the NT so much more clear!  Although, the more I read the more ignorant I feel!
8. To spend at least thirty minutes a day studying God's word with Harry. I usually use Georgia Kelley's nap time to get things done and occasionally spend QT time with Harry teaching...I want to switch this!
9. Redecorate Harry's room.
10. Find a swimsuit I like!
There a few other things I wouldn't mind happening but I am going to count my blessings now!  We had a wonderful 2011 and I love this time in life.
