A fastcore/powerviolence madness? It's a shrew noise from Japan. Up-tempo songs to cause heart attack with classic punk riffs, catchy guitar solos and lunatic chorus on vocals. No more information about the band. So I could say they're extreme underground guys.

Katie Katty - Monster Cat Creep Show 7"

Katie Katty is an all-girl hardcore punk band from Kobe / Japan. They have released a demo in '05 and they have released this 7" in '05. The demo is more melodic and more catchy but the ep is quite raw and noisy. Their music is a little similar to Finnish all-girl hc punk band Khatarina, so you can get an idea of them. If you have any idea about noisy girls who slaps you in the face real hard when you fight, this is what you'll find in that 7".

Lastsentence - Beginning Of The Close Mind 7"

Incredibly fast and noisy female fronted crasher crust from Osaka / Japan. Ex-members of Nationstate, Ferocious X, Devastated are in the band. They've recorded their first demo in '08 and they've released this ep in '10. The songs are mostly the same ones in the demo, but re-recorded. Some people call them "Frigöra with female vocals" and i say they have a point.

Colored Rice Men - ...Jealousy Wars

Colored Rice Men is a hardcore punk band from Japan. Formed by the members of the mighty Lip Cream. This is perfect japanese hardcore with a spastic saxophone player, yeah you heard it. Lip Cream, Japanese HC and saxophone, does that need more explanation?

Result - I Can Go Die 7"

Result is a band from Japan. They are formed by Takeshi (who used to sing in C.F.D.L. before that and sung in several bands like Filth Chain, Bacteria.) And the other members of the band played in Muga when Result split up. There aren't much info about them on the internet actually. If you know something you can share, leave a comment and inform me. In this 7" they play ripper crust but their later releases are a bit melodic but not like the boring melodic crust crap. They are great too, i'm going to post their self titled LP soon too. For now deal with that.

Contrast Attitude - Sick Brain Extreme Addict 7''

Contrast Attitude is a raw and noisy d-beat crust band from Japan. They are formed in '98, they released a 7" (the one i'm posting), a 12" split with Acrostix and they have taken part in various compilations. They are heavily influenced by the Japanese and Swedish raw d-beat bands.

Gas - The Day After

Female fronted japanese hardcore punk classic. And it's their best release. Japan + Hardcore Punk + Female Vocals + 80's = True Classic.

I think last year some japanese label released their flexi, first ep, and some live tracks on lp and cd so depending how much you like GAS, you can still find the lp/cd around the net.

Gauze - Equalizing Distort 12''

A classic from the 80's japanese hardcore punk scene. Gauze is one of the first hardcore bands in Japan, formed in '81. This 12" is released in '86 and it's the 2nd release of the band. Before these two they took place in some compilations. And I believe this is their best stuff ever. Even though the lyrics are a bit weird. But that's ok, all japanese bands have strange lyrics. We all learnt to live through that heh. All of their records are intense actually. Even though they seem to hate vegetarians (which can be seen when you read the lyrics of Crash The Pose) i still like the sound of them.
