11/19/12 Levi's Birthday Outing and Kate's Ultrasound!
We decided kinda last minute to celebrate Levi's birthday with a little trip to Build A Bear and lunch at the mall since we had already had his birthday party a couple weeks ago! Then, knowing there was a 3D/4D ultrasound place right down the road from where we were, we got a last minute appointment to see Kate(you're supposed to do those from 32-34 weeks, not 38, b/c you don't get great pics since they are SO tightly in there, but it was still neat)! Even Nana, Aunt Lana, Reese and Blayke got to join in on the last minute-ness of it all!!! What a fun, fun day!
Levi's FIRST Birthday Party!!!
Levi...he's our miracle in every way. Someday, I'll let him decide if he wants to tell his whole story. But for now, I'll just thank God that things happened the way they did, and we'll be forever grateful that we were chosen to raise him. Thankful to God, thankful to his birth mom, thankful to the agency that we felt led to, thankful to his foster family those first 2 weeks, thankful to the infertility for almost 7 years that led to him, thankful to our supportive families and so much more.
Happy, happy Birthday to our sweet, CHOSEN Levi! I'm sorry birthday party day found you cutting teeth and running a fever because of those dern things. You were a trooper anyways.
