A day in relief Society........

All the kids entertaining Kaitlynn

Kaitlynn up close and personal

Let's just say that Kaitlynn is, well, curious. Others might call her a bully, you decide.
Relief society started out oh so innocent, until I let Kaitlynn sit on the floor. There were three other kidlins on the floor, two older and one younger. She started playing nice, looking at books, eating snacks etc. It soon escalated to grabbing a hold of one kids leg, yelling into another boy's ear making him cry, then proceeding to grab him by the collar, pull him down so she could touch his red hair, pulling down another little boy's pants and grabbing a girl by her dress, moving her backwards so she could grab a ball. By the end of Relief Society, Kaitlynn was the only child on the floor while all the other children were being consoled by their mothers. Oh dear, oh dear, what is a mom to do!

Other then causing drama we have had a wonderful weekend! TJ finished his last day of clinicals this week, which is AWESOME and I started my two weeks of vacation which is also AWESOME! We celebrated by roasting hot dogs and s'mores and wading in Jordan Lake Friday night. It was SOOOO fun! Then on Saturday we headed to the stake breakfast to celebrate the 24th of July and then headed to the beach for the day! The weather was PERFECT! The air was hot, there was a slight breeze, a couple clouds for shade and the water was SOOO warm! On the way back we stopped in at Buffalo Wings for some super yummy food! It has been a great weekend!
This week we close on our house and do a few more houskeeping things! I just feel so grateful for all our blessings and for where we are in life right now. It is so fun, adventurous, exciting, etc. I am for sure going to miss all of our wonderful friends who will be leaving us after graduation, but it makes me so happy to think of them being done with school and progressing to the next stage of life. To all of you out there still working hard in school, don't stop, keep going, because it is SOOO worth it! =) Anyway, love you all and hope you all have a wonderful week! Hope you enjoy the pics of our little angel (or monster) you decide! =) Love you!

You might be a mother if.......

Kaitlynn and I sitting on some grass in the rain!

Us at the Coca-cola!

A torch from the Olympics!

What a cute couple!

In love with Coca-cola!

1- Everyone of your necklaces is held together with tape
2- You can't remember the last time you took a shower when you washed your hair AND shaved your legs.
3- You feel empty when you leave the house with just your purse.
4- You have a song from little Einstein's stuck in your head.
5- You know what your son/daughter ate today because there are remnants of it on your clothes.

ENJOY!

What a weekend!!!

Drink it up! Tasting ALL of Coca-cola sodas!

All of us with the polar bear!

Our little present at the Duke Gardens

The AMAZING dancer!

A Picture of our house!
Fun, fun, and more fun!! So we have had a great few days, please allow us to share our wonderful experiences with you! First, last weekend we had spent a Sunday evening in Duke Gardens. While we were there we watched some modern dancers that were in the park for free entertainment. One of the dancers was 87 years old! WOW! This weekend we headed to Georgia to spend the weekend with the Weber family! We had a great time, eating great food, visiting, playing cards, swimming and going to the coca-cola factory. It was soooo fun and thank you so much to the Weber's for letting us take over your house for the weekend, it was super fun!
We also celebrated my 26th birthday over this past week! I have to give a big shout-out to my husband who was fabulous! Everyone year my birthday makes me ponder the last year, what my goals are, where I am in life and fun memories! This year, I realized I am quite hard on my husband, and I owe him an apology! I love you honey! One of my favorite presents was a card TJ got for me from Kaitlynn. He gave her a pen and had her draw ALL over the card! I loved it! I also got some great accessories to the Ipod! My gifts were also accompanied by breakfast in bed, lunch with a special friend, and wonderful phone calls from family and friends! Thanks everyone for making my birthday special!
we hope you ALL enjoy your upcoming week, and enjoy the pics! Love ya!

Happy July!

Mom and Kaitlynn hangin on a Sunday Afteroon

Our friends (Kaitlynn's second mom) the Carrier family!

Mom and Kaitlynn at the Eno

Our friends the Christian Family, aren't they cute!

Beautiful girl!

So, I am kind of feeling bad for not being more patriotic in the last post! I have to admit, I was pretty tired while I was typing it, but really, I should have said more about the holiday! I just want you all to know that I do value our freedom and am SOOO grateful for all of the men and women who fight for our freedom and for the sacrifice that their families make on a daily basis! Thank you!
Now that I feel a little better, let's update you on a little of what our fam has been up too! Well, not a whole lot! I have been doing the usual "mom" stuff like cooking, cleaning, getting everything in order from finances to housing paperwork to vacation plans, etc., working and taking care of sweet baby Kaitlynn! TJ has been studying and going to school and helping out when he can! = I do have to say, I have a new addiction, it's called WIPEOUT! This is the only show I usually watch all week and I laugh almost the entire time. I swear, TJ and I are going to do this course, can't you see us out there making fools of ourselves? Don't feel bad if you are secretly (or not so secretly) laughing at us, I laugh at us too!
We have recently had an infestation of spiders in our house (this means a total of three are spotted in one day) so that means we must clean and then spray the entire house tomorrow! =) I'm so thankful for a husband that puts up with my paranoia!
This past weekend we played some tennis, ate some yummy food including pizza with our good friends and watched a movie! Not to bad for a relaxing weekend! I have also decided to be a little more picky about what I eat as to try to lose a little weight, umm... this might be more believable if I had not made the same decision every weekend for the past four weeks! =) I already gave in to Mrs. Field's cookies on Saturday! So bad, yet oh so good! I'll keep you posted on how it goes!
Kaitlynn is doing GREAT! She is SUCH a big girl. Everyday she has learned something new, sometimes this is good, sometimes not so good. Right now we are having the heart to heart discussion of the importance of leaving your diaper on! =) I don't think she feels the importance quite yet! =) She is crawling ALL over and SOOOO fast, sometimes too fast and then she flips right over because her legs move faster then her arms. Quite hilarious! She is eating EVERYTHING, edible or not, she talks NON-STOP, especially to TJ. She is by far, the best thing to ever happen to our little family! We love her to pieces!
That is about it, we should have more adventures this week so we will keep you posted. Here are some pics of us going to Eno State Park and playing in the water with some of our BEST friends! =) Have a great weekend and WE LOVE YOU!

Wow, it has been a while! Sorry for the lapse in updating, but we are back and doing great! Lots has happened since we have updated last! TJ had his first Father's day, which I think went well! A big shout out to our dad's who we love SOOOOO much and truly appreciate!
We did finally find and buy a house, YEAH! So we are very excited about that, both to be done looking, bidding, etc, and because we LOVE our new house! When I get pictures, I will show you! I think it is going to be perfect for our little family!
This last weekend did not disappoint either! We had a fabulous time celebrating it together! Friday was full of activities including tennis, swimming, bbq and baseball concluding with fireworks. Saturday was shopping (for TJ at Dicks) relaxation, then the state fairgrounds for some outside fun including flea market, live music, fair food, and fireworks. We had a great time! I'm sad that the weekend is over! =)
TJ is doing great, he is in his elective now which means more free time in the evenings! It is so fun, it is almost as if we are a "normal" family, whatever that might be!
Kaitlynn is getting SOOOO big! She had her 9 month appointment and was 95% in height and head circumference and 90% in weight! She grew 4 inches in the last three months. She is smiling ALL the time, talks non-stop, points to everything, crawls like crazy, and brings us more happiness and joy then we could ever have expected!
We hope you are all doing great and enjoy the pics! Love ya!
