Rosemary Beach Vacation

We had an amazing experience in Rosemary Beach,

when we went in July.

One of the most unexpected things about that place...

well, evidently that is a place that a lot of adoptive families

like to visit as well!

I think we saw a total of 5 families that looked just like ours!

So that was interesting and fun!

Now to pictures...

It rained the whole day that we got there,

but about 5:00,

the sun came out for the rest of our trip.

The day that we left and it began to rain again.

We were certainly blessed with amazing weather!

Beck did completely wonderful.

It was the longest he had been away from our home.

and I think, as long as he has all of us around him...

he's pretty much good with anything!

He loved the beach

and he played HARD all day long.

Have I ever mentioned how BUSY he is.

If I had a penny for every time that truck was loaded and dumped...

I could buy the entire Rosemary Beach.

Summer!!!

Summer...

My favorite time of the whole year!!!

So here is the last day of school...

and signs saying what their summer will hold.

Now Halle Caroline was just never around,

or wouldn't come for me to take her picture.

Believe me, I tried.

So there is no picture for her :(

One day she will be sorry, right?

Beck got to go play golf with the boys for the first time!

We love Joe T's and pink cookies!

This boy is a machine in the pool!

He loves swimming!

It is a major production.

Seriously, that is horrible.

Clearly it was an uneventful day for us...

and this was after we put Beck in bed

and then decided to go try to find fireworks!

Beck's 4th Birthday!!!

Well, since it was Beck's first birthday to really celebrate....

I kinda wanted to go all out...

because seriously, he had a lot of birthday parties to catch up on.

We had a little afternoon swim party with close friends and family,

 that walked this journey with us,

and a few of his besties that he has made this year.

After discussing many themes,

momma finally settled on superhero.

and let me just tell ya...

I didn't get half the decorations put up before the first guest arrived.

I had the most adorable signs made...

that looked a lot like the invitation...

that never even made it up.

And then there's Beck...

he was just over the top excited...

it was pure joy...

BUT....

he would not smile for 1 single picture...

which made me CRAZY!

everytime I tried to take a picture,

he would tell me "no" and look away...

so all those adorable friends and family members that were there to celebrate...

I have no pictures...

which makes me so sad! :(

and then...

my camera was acting up and many of the pics from party day were blurry...
