Pre-School

This is just a quick post to let you know that a certain little girl began pre-school this past week. She's attending a special class at the local elementary school for children with disabilities...her 5-6 classmates share similar developmental delays, and her teachers are all therapists. She loves it!

New Glasses!

We picked up Gwyneth's first pair up prescription glasses today! Beyond the fact that she's incredibly cute, we're also excited that she can actually see what the world is really supposed to look like for the first time! Here are a few pics from today (the last one is my favorite!)...we can tell she can see much better, and as long as she's busy, she doesn't even bother trying to take them off.

Swim Lessons!

Actually, at Gwyneth's size and coordination, it's more like getting-used-to-something-other-than-bath-water lessons! But, whatever you want to call it, it started today...only lasted about 5 minutes thanks to a thunder storm (yes, they close down the indoor pool during a thunder storm), and I only managed a few semi-blurry photos (BTW, have I ever mentioned how much I HATE florescent lights?) before we were on our way out the door, but we'll try again on Thursday and for the next few weeks...

Easter Pics

Because Gwyneth was sick on Easter Sunday, she and Tricia stayed home. So, we took some pics today after church. Gwyneth finally got to wear her green dress (thanks Carol!), and, for the very first time, she spent a Sunday morning in our church's nursery!

Welcome To The Gardens

We introduced Gwyneth to the Duke Gardens on Wednesday evening...such a perfect day to be outside, and we're thankful to have had enough time to enjoy it after the long clinic day.
