MOVING COWS IN COLORADO

Last weekend was our first family trip to Colorado.  Dusty has brought the boys over quite a few times to bring the cows but they haven't stayed long.  We came over on Friday and had to be home on Saturday.  The boys really enjoyed it.  There is a HUGE river that runs through the property and it almost gives me heart failure.  It was really warm the day we were over there.  We made a slip and slide on the front lawn.  The boys played in the water and had a ton of fun.  One of our permits is right across the street from our house.  So we only had to move cows for just a little while in the morning.  The rest of the day we played, rode the ranger, and explored.  There is SOOOO much junk that has been left behind but the boys love it.  There are old four-wheelers, snowmobiles, cars, tools, and everything else you can imagine.  Our boys are in heaven exploring around.  I couldn't believe that I forgot to take my camera.  This is the only picture I got because I had my phone.  Rayce was riding the 4 wheeler when we took this picture.

OLD ENOUGH TO MOW

Ridge thinks he is old enough to mow the law.  He actually did a pretty good job.  I didn't dare go ver far from him.  Ridge has a lot of common sense.  I showed him one time how to turn and go and then he asked me if he could do it.  I sat him on my lap and he said, "NO alone!"  I hoped off and he turned the blade on and started mowing.

COWS * COWS * COWS

Our life is now revolving around cows.  Every night there is branding, tagging, calving, herding, moving, watering, feeding... something to do.  Ridge and Range are really into it.  Ridge is really loving every minute of the cow business!  We have started taking the cows to Colorado that have calved.  Ridge doesn't let the semi leave without him!
