Birthday cards...

I've been busy with cards this month. Here is the spate of birthday cards that were made for friends and family.

Another B-day card

For this card I used a stampin wheel to make the flowers along the bottom. Then I colored in some white with a white pen and made some with eyelets. I stamped a bee and colored in some of it with the white pen as well as made a trail for his flight. Then I made a tag with a retangle paper and punch out the corners on a 45 degree angle. I also punched a slot for the ribbon to go through and tied a bow. I stamped the "b is for birthday" and the present. Cut out the present and put it in the middle of the b with a dimentional. I think it needs more color... but whatever.

Flower Birthday Card

Talk about easy. I just wish I had a tag-punch. I cut the tag myself, used twine instead of ribbon, and used the same flower paper I used for the last card I posted.


By the way - thanks to all the new contributors! It's so fun to see a variety of cards. Especially since a lot of us have the same style, since we make cards together. :)

Cards from my Grandma J!

These are just a few of the cards my Grandma made me for Christmas! She gave me a whole bunch of beautifully stamped blank cards so I can use them throughout the year. She gave cards as gifts to quite a few of my family members. What a perfect gift! I can't imagine the hours she put in. I thought I would share some of her designs with you. She has really good ways of using flower/leaf/stem stamps. Thank you, Grandma!

This is a card made with only paper, no stamps:
This is a baby card I made recently. It has a thin sheer ribbon running down the left of the stamp, in case you can't see. I also colored in the stamp with colored pencils:
