Finis

Tess had her last dance recital last weekend. Each class performed a number from Swan lake and it was adorable with a capital A! Tess did awesome.
This was Miss Jeanette's last session of teaching. Let's just say we are still mending our broken hearts over here. It was so perfect for Tess. She came out of her shell, she let me do her hair, since Miss Jeanette asked that their hair not be in there faces for class, she taught Tess to LOVE ballet. The fancy words, the beautiful music the of course the puffy, glittery, and perfectly girly costumes. Really, she can't stop leaping, twirling and chasse-ing around the house.

VETERAN'S DAY

The kids and I attended the Veteran's day free pancake breakfast at their school this morning. It was a great tribute to all those who have fought for our freedom.
The highlights:
Breakfast I didn't have to cook
Seeing all the veteran's in uniform
The lady that sang the songs from all the branch's of the military.
During each song the everyone from that branch would stand up. Of course everyone was clapping the whole time and there wasn't a dry eye in the house,
Lastly, the Air Force fly over.
The school had all the students turn in yellow stars for any family member that served or is serving in the military. We turned ours in for Mark, Amber, and Grandpa.
Happy Veteran's day!!

Charlie's big day

He picked to have a family party again this year, which means instead of spending the money on a birthday party with his friends at our house he gets to pick a place for the whole family to go. This year he elected to again party at Cracker Barrel for breakfast but instead of a movie like last year we followed it up with a couple glorious hours at Chuck E. Cheese's. As much as it pained Dave and I to hear this, it ended up being a ton of fun. Hitting it up right after breakfast is the way to go. We had the place to ourselves.

You're a good man Charlie. Happy Birthday!
