Halloween 2019

The Bush family became secret service agents for the President of the USA for a couple of nights. 

Our trunk or treat and our trick or treating evenings were perfectly suited (haha) for keeping an eye on our youngest president ever, President Gideon Bush, age 7.  Mom didn't have to worry at all about him that night since he had several seasoned secret service agents surrounding him!

The new Super Smash Bros Ultimate® is awesome. I've got some facts about this game that you need to know.

First things first, this new entertaining game is a lot of fun to play. Every character that was included in any previous Smash Bros game is in this one, and there are more than 60 characters you can use. There are 2 new characters that appear in this version, which are Inkling and Ridley.

All of the stages (including the new ones) have a battlefield and an Omega stage that you can play.

the new stages are Moray Towers from Splatoon and Great Plateau from Breath of the Wild. 

In this version you pick the stage before you pick the fighter, so that one player picks the stage based on the fighters.

It's a super fun game and I hope ya'll learned from this post.

Stuffed animals

The kids got some unusual and fun stuffed animals from Poppa Keith and Jeanene for Christmas.  They love love love love love love them.  I gave them the opportunity to meet and greet my old (very old) baby stuffed animal, Old Blue.  The kids were thrilled.  Maybe the stuffed animals were too. 

BTW, the animals below are Steve the Snake, Tickle the Octopus, Stumpy the Christmas Bear (from quite a few years ago), and Old Blue (the pink dog). 

Art History!

We studied art history in the month of January.  Along with that, we created our own art trying to imitate the various -isms.

 

New Years 2018

We try to do something "new" that we've never done as a family before.  

(This is getting to be a difficult tradition to keep!)  

This year, Evelyn came up with the idea to throw pie (toppings) in each other's faces.
