She's 3!

and 3 years later...

Evelyn turned 3 today... She is such a "girly" girl, no, make that a princess. Her Highness started the day out with a doctor appointment, and came home to a slew of homemade crowns. Then she did a dancing show for us and played with Disney toys all day long. She picked "Aladdin" for her movie to watch, while Mom worked feverishly on wrapping presents and decorating a cake (which Dad had to rescue and fix due to Mom's impatience and half-thought out ideas). She is loving all the sibling/parent/grandparent attention, soaking it all in with a royal air, even telling people "You have to obey me, because I am the princess!"

Jonas advances

Jonas received his tenderfoot, 2nd class, and 1st class ranks last night, as well as his first merit badge for boating. Thanks goes to all who work in scouting. We know you guys work hard! Woohoo Jonas! Way to go!
