My birthday was fabulous! Jesse got me us an iPad!!!!! Which I was super excited about!! He came home early from work to hang out with the kids and me. Then manned the house while I went to dinner and a movie with some girlfriends…what a man, right?!! After the movie, we went and had cake at Cammie’s, who was so sweet to make me another birthday cake! Love ya girl! And LOVED my cake!
April is packed with birthdays around here! We were lucky enough to celebrate Ali’s birthday the day after Kathy’s surprise party! She had a party in the park with cake pops, a pinata, and presents. We love celebrating birthdays together!

This year, Jesse’s mom celebrated her 60th birthday! What better reason than to have a surprise party?!! Rachel flew in to surprise mom and be there with all of us to yell SURPRISE!! And boy did we surprise mom! It was priceless! But, that wasn’t even the best part! Liz had tracked down everyone mom had ever known, including family, and collected 60 “memories” for her to read…a separate one in 60 envelopes. After playing a couple fun games, we spent the rest of the night hearing mom read the memories all of her family and friends had of her over the years. It was wonderful! Some of the memories were hilarious, and all were heartfelt. We all felt like we got to know mom a little better after that night! We sure love you mom!
