No special camera effects here!

Brian saw these pictures and wondered what on earth happened.  Can you guess?

Father and Son Campout

When the boys got home, Brian handed me the camera and said,
"Here's a complete record of what we did."

California pics!

We had such a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
Camden liked to practice his tricks on the trampoline.
Camden just couldn't keep his eyes open!
Aunt Rachel trying to teach Camden to ride the ripstick. It resembles a skate board, but is totally different and much harder!  I can't figure it out.  :)

Beach Day!
Camden loves to be buried, we discovered!  He spent most of the time getting buried.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but Brian is buried as Francesco Bernoulli,
and Camden is Lightning McQueen.

Nate loves the beach!  He liked to chase the seagulls and carry around the big shovel.
He loved the water and the waves crashing against him.  No fear!
 He's chasing a receding wave.
Unfortunately, there were purple jelly fish and pieces of jelly fish in the water, so we didn't get to go in very far or for very long.  But, the boys really loved the beach!

Back again.

Whew!  I got really sick for a few days, but I'm feeling much better now. Here is one of my favorite pictures from this summer.  Doesn't it just shout "summer" to you?

    And another really good smile!
Our new camera seems much faster than our old one.  Can't complain about that!

More to come soon.

Back!

Hi!  We're back.  We lost our camera for awhile, so of course, I couldn't post anything.  But, we have a new one now, so we're back in business!

Few updates since June:
~We were sick, one at a time.  Bleh!
~Brian's parents came for a baptism.  We sure love their visits!
~We enjoyed the 4th of July with our Utah cousins.  Fun
~We visited my parents in California.  Had lots of fun!  This one will get another post.
~I got in a minor car crash.  No one hurt, but a pain to deal with getting the car fixed.  Aargh.

~Nate had some medical testing done. (He had a series of 7 choking episodes in 3 weeks.  Not just the cough-cough-normal baby choking kind, but the death choke where no air is in or out.  These experiences were causing him to be fearful of eating, and he really wouldn't eat.  Several different tests confirmed that he doesn't have any physiological problems with his throat or with swallowing.  He fasted for 4 hours before each test.  It was so hard on both of us.  However, he seems more interested in eating since the first bout of fasting.  We still don't know why he was choking, but we hope it doesn't happen again.)

~One of neighbors, who has been unemployed for about 2 years, got a job.  We are so grateful and excited for her!
~ Brian's sister and her husband were able to finally find the right baby for their family.   We feel very very grateful and excited for them!  And we can't wait to meet him!
~We went to Orderville for a quick family reunion. You've never been there?  Wait, you've never heard of it?  I hadn't either, but it is a cute little town close to Bryce Canyon, and close to the east side of Zion.  We got to stay in a great big house with all the families.  It was so good to see my cousins I don't see very often.

Nate update: We learned he LOVES animals and bugs and has no fear.  He nuzzled his head right into horses' noses.  He watched us feed some goats and then picked up the corn off the ground and fed them.  His hand wasn't even flat!  The goat nibbled his finger and he giggled.

Camden: Has come out of his reluctant, I don't want to do anything you ask me to do stage.  And, he is so delightful again! He slept on the top bunk of a bunk bed at my parents' house, and now he wants his own.  He is too smart for my own good.

Pictures to come next time.  Probably tomorrow.  :)
