Where's my camera?!
I can't find my camera! It's been gone for a month now. So sorry for not posting more of our family. A lot has happened and I have no pictures to document. So sad :(
Jacob at 6 weeks
This little guy is pretty active. He has already rolled over from front to back and he rolls onto his side from his back. I think his reason for getting cranky is because he wants to move around. Hailey and Jacob are quite the pals. Hailey likes it when Jacob lays on the floor. She gets down with him and tries to play. I have to watch her though and make sure she doesn't attack him with too much love. The other day Hailey rolled on top of Jacob and made him cry. To get her back he pulled her hair and made her cry. It was funny. I've got a feeling Jacob will hold his own against his big sister with no problems.

Jacob's Blessing
Brennan's parents and Oldest sister Cheryl flew in to meet Jacob and for his blessing. We spent our first day together at the Oregon coast. As always it was bit chilly and cloudy. We went to lunch at the famous Mo's. For those of you who aren't Simpson buffs, Mo's is where they came up with the name for Mo's Tavern. We all had clam chowder and fish and chips. We then went to the beach and flew a kite and poked some sea anemones.

The blessing was super sweet. I was worried that Brennan was going to accidentally say Jaren instead of Jacob because he does it all the time. I pounded it into his head all that morning. Thankfully he didn't. Brennan and I were both in tears through the whole thing. Like I said, it was a sweet experience.

Now that we have two, life is a lot more hectic. I have forgotten how much work a new born is. I feel like I can't get anything done. Teri was nice while she was here and bought me a swing. I didn't want one before because I felt like it was just another object to store in the garage. Now that I have one I feel much different about it. Jacob is a colicky baby and all I have to do is swaddle him up tight and put him in it. It calms him right down. What a life and sanity saver! Hailey is liking Jacob a lot more now. She likes to be around him and give him kisses. She still has a hard time with attention though when he's in one of his crying spells and we have to hold him a lot, especially when it's daddy. We're surviving and hoping that he starts sleeping through the night soon.
