I’ve been a published author since 2020, and at present have fifteen books to my name. Six form a family saga of contemporary fiction, with another stand-alone of that genre, three more are psychological suspense, one is a whodunnit and four are collections of poetry. See their individual pages on this website for details.

As well as being an author, I’ve been a lifelong reader. Many of the books I read are by authors who, like me, are self-published independents. I know how hard it can be to write, edit, publish and market alone, and I believe in supporting my fellow indies when possible. There are some great books out there from the indie community, and it’s my pleasure to help my colleagues by reading and reviewing them. My reviews will be found here on my book review page, being introduced on my blog page, where they’re interspersed with other posts concerning my views on life, the universe and everything.

As of June 2026 I’ve undertaken a Storytelling Project, sharing the origins of the oral tradition of telling tales and the writing down of them, from ancient times to the present. I’m blogging a new episode every fortnight, and adding these to the Storytelling Project page here as I go along. If you’re interested please do go and have a look, and follow the blogs from the bottom up.

I hope you’ll subscribe to my site and join me, as I share my reviews and thoughts as well as my own books; and when you’ve checked out mine, maybe check those from other authors too, and the interviews I’ll be conducting with some of them. I’m sure there’ll be something to your taste here.

Welcome, and enjoy.
