I have to admit that I have not always been a big music fanatic. But, meeting my husband has definitely taught me to appreciate music in several different forms. I have such a variety of music I listen to now. I love punk, rock, contemporary, country, gospel, and soul, but most of all, I LOVE listening to music of people I know. Luckily for me, my husband is a great singer/song writer, and so is my great friend Liz. I am their biggest fans for sure! Another friend from back-in-the-day, Brittini Black, is an AMAZING artist too. She moved to Nashville for college after she graduated from Chap. I heard she was trying to "make it" as a country star. Now, it seems, she HAS made it!! She's been on a tour for the past month or so, and she has a GREAT video. I'm sure some of you who read this remember her from the CHS days, but if you need a flashback then scroll down to the cheer picture from my TAG, she is the girl standing up in the back. Anyway, I just wanted to share her videos and show some support for her, so let me know what you think!

NEW HAIR
That's right..new hair cut for me! I have been wanting to cut my hair short for a while, but I was too chicken to actually do it until now! I was thinking about getting our Holiday pictures done and I realized that we all look pretty much the same as last year. Obviously Phoenix has grown, but that's hard to notice in pictures and I was still sprotin' the same do. After I made the decision to chop it, I immediately booked an appointment with my AWESOME (and moderately priced) hair lady, Laurie, at suit 1. She hooked it up and I'm way happy. GO SEE HER..She's so nice and doesn't charge an unnecessary fortune. Here's some pics of my hair. I wish I'd taken some after she styled it. She does a much better job than me.

busy week
It seems like this past week was so hectic. I've been trying to get Phoenix's halloween costume all together, and I must say it is super cute. We got Phoenix's picture taken with our nephew Ethan. He is going to be Peter Pan and Phoenix is going to be Tinkerbell. Phoenix wasn't in a great mood, but we still got some good shots. I am going to post them, but probably not until Halloween. After the long day of getting her pics done and dinner at Bobby's parents house we were trying to wind down. It was around 11pm and my baby was still going strong. We always think it's funny that she's still awake and happy at 10 or 11 at night. I hate putting her to bed when she's in such a great mood. I am posting a video of the late night fun from our house. You'll see why it's so hard making her go to bed!! So here are a few pictures from this week and the short video(sorry about how dark it came out)...

TAGGED
I'm going to do this TAG from Liz. I will try and add as many pictures as I can because I think it's always more fun with pics. I may have to change a few of the questions a little though!! Here goes...
What were you doing 10 years ago??
1. Well, this cheer picture is from about 13 years ago, but it's the only "old one" I had in my computer, and I don't have time to scan. :( I'd just like to point out that I am the chubby, ugly one on the right!! Don't feel bad for me, it keeps me humble. LOL I didn't learn to straighten my hair until my junior year!?
2. 10 years ago it was just me and my sister, and we were on our own trying to make a way. We've had a GREAT 10 years! :)
3. I was also starting a valet parking job at the Golden Nugget about 10 years ago.
4. I'm pretty sure I was checking Bobby out from across the break room, figuring out how I was going to get rid of his girlfriend and my boyfriend. :)
5. Playing soccer on an adult co-ed league.
What's on your "TO DO" list for today?
1. Lunch with my sister and my friend Jillian
2.Uggh..Dentist appointment.
3.I'd like to get some softball practice in. My game's tomorrow and I want to do better each week.

1. First things first, I'd buy lots of shoes and clothes..these boots first!

3.Open a mental hospital/home. Isn't it time we stop pretending like EVERY homeless person is "just a drunk."
4.I'd buy vacation homes all over.
5.I'd have more kids!

1.Hawaii, near a beach!

3. Oklahoma, near my family!
4. Oregon, because there are tons of runners there.
