On December 9th Faith had her first Orchestra Concert at the high school.

Faith got to write and read about the first song that they played.

She did such a great job on it.

So on Sunday I didn't have a partner in the nursery with me.

E'lyse and Gabby said they would come in and help me.

So I did my usual thing playing with the kids, snack time, lesson, color time then music time.

The girls were laughing at me.

They said this was a different side of me that they have never seen before.

Maybe not a good idea to have them in there with me. It was fun though.

Evening Of Excellence

Every year the wards in our church hold an Evening Of Excellence

This years theme was "The Temple The Happiest Place On Earth"

This is to spotlight each girl on her personal progress.

Each girl is to pick out a value and do a 10 hour project on that value.

They have to have it approved by one of the leaders, then do the project and pass it off.

This night they make displays explaining with examples of what they did.
I am a LAME O mom I didn't take pictures of the girls projects. Sorry!!

Trying to catch up on my blogs has been a chore.

It has been one of those times that I don't have much to say but the same old thing.

On Saturday October 12, the girls and I went to Target.

Stopped of course at one of the funnest places in the store

the bargain area.
Gabby found these toys. She proceeded to try to pinch me with them,

then decided this would be much better.

She looks like she is in pain. I think she was making some weird noises or something.

Hair Coloring

Gabby has been talking about changing her hair coloring for a while now.

She asked her dad if she could and he said no.

Well he thought it over and then changed his mind.

He said she could color it as long as it was a normal hair color

but he wasn't thrilled about her doing it.

Goodbye September Hello October

I love this time of year.

Our weather here in Arizona has finally been in the 90's.

The mornings are cool and so beautiful.

I do miss the change of the leaves from up north. We don't get that much down here.

E'lyse & Faith are excited

The high school is on Fall break for two weeks.

E'lyse still has her EVIT class that she has all this week in the afternoon.

Next week she has that off too.

Next week Gabby get's one week off, due to the middle school being in a different school district.

This year is going by way too quickly and from what I hear I am not alone on this feeling.

One of the things I am working on is getting some organizing done.

Also some de-cluttering.

I have found a vlog that I enjoy on You Tube called Clutter Bug.

This got me started on some new ideas. She did have a blog called Maltrose79.

The Clutter Bug is her new blog. She is fun and creative. So go over and check her out.

Autumn Time

Happy Autumn to you all.

This is my favorite time of the year. I love the colors, the much cooler weather ( I HOPE).

I have already decorated the house for Fall. I have been waiting for this day all summer.

So tomorrow is a new working day of the week.

Starting my workout program. I am excited about this.

A new attitude to go with the new season.

New or revised goals are in the works.

With only 93 days till Christmas I need to do some major planning for the holidays.

Gabby is 13

I can't believe that my youngest is 13 years old.

She has grown to be such a beautiful young lady.

Dallas is 21

We celebrated Dallas's 21st Birthday a day early

since Coco and her kiddos were going home the next day.

Dallas, Sara and Dean came over for dinner and cake.

Funny story Dallas had called me on Monday. I had already planned & had meat thawing out for dinner.

Dallas say's "I was wondering if you wanted to do my Birthday celebration tonight since Coco is leaving in the morning? "

I said sure. Normally I would ask person having Birthday what they want for dinner & cake, pie or cookies.

Me: " What about your cake or what do you want? "

Dallas: "Well I guess Sara and I could stop and buy a cake. Unless you want to make a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing."

Me: "If I want to ?"

Dallas: "Yea, only if you want to?"

he he Love this kiddos.

So we had planned dinner of meatloaf and I did make the chocolate cake & peanut butter frosting.

Tuesday Night Class Results

I have sat down at least 5 times to get this post up and something
would call my attention away or the computer wouldn't let me add it.
So anyway the class on the Tuesday night that I though went well.
I am not sure how much the girls will remember or if they will ever use it
but, I did what I could and had fun.
Glad when it was over. The class went way longer than planned.
After the class we all had healthy smoothies that were yummy.

Why Did I Say Yes?

Last month I was asked if I would teach some information about massage to the young woman in our ward.

Tonight is the night. Why did I say yes? I get very nervous doing things like this. Even though I love massage and can go on for hours about it, I still get nervous having to talk to people.

So I decided I would go with the basics of eating healthy, then exercise and then to massage teaching some

reflexology on their face, ears, hands and feet.
(No this is not my hands or my feet)

Cross your fingers for me and say a few prayers that all goes well.

Labor Day

It is Labor Day are you doing anything fun?

We are just enjoying the day off.

The girls are excited they don't have school and get to sleep in.

E'lyse and some friends are going to a Diamond Backs baseball game.

Alan went dove hunting. Sunday was the opening day of dove season. He won't hunt on Sunday so he was excited to be able to go this morning.

I am going to work on some de-cluttering, organizing and reading.

It was a good Sunday.

I slept in and it felt so wonderful. Truly needed it today.

We were very late to church making it for the last 2 hours of church.

I have been called as a Nursery Worker. I get to

hang out with the 3 year old children.

Happy Dog

This is my sweet Nellie. She doesn't like her picture taken so it is hard to get one of her. On Saturday I caught her as she was sitting in front of our fan in our bedroom just enjoying the fan blowing on her.

I asked her if she was enjoying it? She then proceeded to roll around on the floor in front of the fan.

So I was able to get this one.

On Sunday August 18th, E'lyse had gone to a Missionary farewell.

As they say the show must go on so I got a picture of Faith and Gabby.

I think there is going to many, many more farewells with the announcement of the age lowering.

So great to see these young men and women going out and serving the Lord spreading the gospel.

Sunday Breakfast

Most Sundays Dallas, Sara and Dean come over and join us for breakfast.

Middle School 2013

This year Gabby couldn't wait for school to start again.

She missed her friends and something to do during the day.

Wow I have 2 in high-school this year .
