Small Disclaimer

My husband made a good point when he came home tonight and looked at our blog. He said somebody could steal your song now and then I made the argument that my friends would never do that to me. However there are a lot of creeps out there that like to pray on little gems like this, so I just thought that I would post a small disclaimer that all copyright to the song below belong to me. I wrote it....I sing it...it is my baby, so please don't duplicate it or anything else for that matter without my permission! Thank you all for bearing with me. I appriciate it so very much!

Attention...Attention...Is this thing on?

At the embarrassment of myself and well probably the rest of my family or anybody who knows me.....I am going to let you preview a little passion of mine. It isn't great and I am no professional by any means but check out this little video and please let me know what you think. Feel free to tell me I need to crawl in a hole and die if that is how you feel and if you like it well let me know that too. Oh and Wylene.....this is for you....Hope it will tide you over until I get a CD made (if that ever happens)

Seven Peaks

The Witbeck family decided to have a get together at Seven Peaks. It was so stinking hot that the cement would burn blisters your feet if you walked on it without flip flops. We had a good time though and the kids LOVED it. Oakley and Dakota both loved the lazy river and the kiddie slides. They also loved the wave pool. We all had a lot of fun and it was good to be able to spend the day with my whole family! Next time though I think we will rent a cabana!

Dakota and her "yellow goggles!" These goggles have become a staple anytime we hit the water; whether it be the pool or the lake, she has to have them!

This is some of the group that was there. We spent a lot of the day hanging out right there in the wave pool just talking! It was awesome!

My poor dad and his white body didn't fair to well this day. He made the mistake of falling asleep without enough sunscreen and boy did he burn! He was lobster red the next day. It hurt me just to look at him!

WANTED!!

The roughest toughest outlaw bunch this side of border!

Yep you guessed it we made our annual trip to Lagoon. It was blazing hot that day but we managed to make it out of there without sunburns or sun stroke, so we figured it was a GREAT day! Not to mention the kids had a blast!

I love it when our kids do cute things like put their arms around each other on the boat ride! They sure know how to melt a mama's heart!

This is what happens when you take away your baby's hot dog flavored water! (gag me)

During this ride, James struck up a conversation with two ladies that thought our kids were the cutest things in the whole world. Those ladies REALLY (and I mean REALLY) got a kick out of our Vernal accent. They kept asking where we were from and when we would say Vernal, they just couldn't understand why we talk like we are from Texas. I really got a kick out of the puzzeled looks on their faces!

Jerry's spur straps

While Wylene and Jerry were here for a little training clinic last week, Jerry had me make him a set of buckleless spur straps. I liked the way they turned out. Hopefully he does too! Let me know what you think. Are they too dark....not flashy enough....I need your imput!

Holy Catch-up!!!!

We have been going none stop for the last three weeks and to tell you the truth I haven't been around a computer much. So, I am going to try to catch up on all of the happenings in our world! I went and took a well needed visit to one of my best friends ever Aunt Sandy! She happened to be in Utah, so we jumped in the car and went to Oakley to see her! She also took entirely way to much pleasure in watching me be a mom! After a quick visit, we headed home for the annual Neola kids rodeo. Oakley wanted to chase EVERYthing. He didn't know what to do with it when he got close enough to catch it, so he would pet it and find something else to chase. It was so stinking funny. Dakota caught a chicken that we promptly pawned off on someone else. She is still in mourning over it, but I think she will live! Then we went to the 4th of July parade and fireworks. The parade may be lame, but it is tradition. All of this was followed up by rodeo week. James and Brandon competed in the steer dressing on Thursday night. I think they were robbed! Nuff said about that! Other than that Dakota has had us at Grandma and Grandpa Boomers house to play with puppies and ride horses. She has been practicing her barrels and she has been feeling a need for speed lately. We have also managed to get a few visits to the lake squeezed in to all of our outings. Nothing says summer like the lake! So I think that about covers it. Hope you enjoy all of the pics!
