My latest creation!

I have been so excited about getting these chaps done. It was such a fun project. I have to say that when Kati asked me to build them I was wondering how I was going to get them done (not having a machine or all of the tools) but we pulled it together thanks to the boys at McCall Saddle and were able to finish them up.

Now that I have hers done, I have even got orders for more....so if anybody has any need for anything made out of leather let me know and I bet I can get it done. Especially now that I quit my job!

busy...busy....busy

So what can I say it has been a very busy month. We have had some bad times...but mostly we have had a lot of good fun times. It has been amazing watching Dakota and Oakley learn and grow. We are all doing well and we are all just really busy right now. Maybe it will slow down soon....I hope. Here is a slide show to clue you in to what we have been up to.

Hell Week

So this week has been the ultimate hell week. It started off with little Kodi drowning. Then I get a phone call from Oakley's doctor saying that the sutures of his skull are fusing prematurely so we need to go back to Primary Childrens Hospital. Then my dad calls me to tell me that my Uncle Crae got kicked in the face by a horse and lost all of his teeth and they had to sew his lips back on. Then a day later I get a call from my sister because my mom had a heart attack. Next thing I know one of my little brothers good friends shoots himself dead, and then another family friend has a heart attack. So far that is about it and I am hoping there is nothing else coming our way. My mom is doing well though. She was in Portland for a dog show when it happened. She wasn't feeling well and told her friends that she was going to lay down and they told her no and took her to the hospital. On the way there she had a heart attack. They were able to put a stint in and she is doing fine now. She can't lift anything, but she says she feels like she is ready to run a marathon. Anyways that is our update for now. I am looking forward to the start of a new week and hopefully my next post won't be so depressing.

Tradgedy for Cody Williams

It is a sad day. A good friend of mine Kim Anderson, lost her two year old daughter at about 5:30 this morning. Yesterday she fell into the water trough while she was at her dad's house and drown. They life flighted her to Denver and she was in a coma until this morning when she returned to her father in heaven. I am sure most of you know this little girls mother from school. It is such a bad deal for this little family. They aren't really religous people and do not understand the concept of a forever family. I hope and pray that they will be able to pull through this without harboring any hard feelings of blame or guilt. Cody was a cute girl and will be missed by all of us.
