Carving Pumpkins
Jadyn was able to participate in the pumpkin carving a little more this year. She got to draw on it and even help with the cutting.
Halloween Fun
Halloween was so fun for Jadyn this year. It was fun seeing her get excited about all the Halloween stuff. Every time she saw pumpkins she would call it a "pumpkin patch." We did skeleton, and ghost crafts. We went to the pumpkin patch about 5 times. There was one right by our house so in the evening I would take her there to just run, play and jump in the bounce house. Oh and she LOVED feeding the animals. While I was in the hospital having Kennedy, my parents took her to a big pumpkin patch with all sorts of fun rides and activities that she had a blast doing. Then she went back to that pumpkin patch when Nana came. She sure got enough of the pumpkin patch.
We had a Halloween ward party, where we did trunk or treat, had dinner and played games. Jadyn was so cute marching in the parade in her darling pirate costume. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean one time at Disneyland and ever since then she has loved pirates! It's so funny that she likes them so much. A funny story- we were reading our scriptures with her one night and it was about Captain Moroni- and I said "Can you say Captain Moroni", she just looked at me- I said, "Say Captain Moroni" still she just looked at me. I said, " Come on you can say Captain Moroni." She looked at me and in a funny voice said "CAPTAIN HOOK" while she lifted up her arm and finger in a hook shape. Maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny. I don't even know where she heard Captain Hook from because I never talked about him. He scares me. ha
On Halloween day- both Nana and Grammy took her trick or treating to a couple of houses. She LOVED IT. She would walk up to the door, say trick or treat in a sweet little voice and hold out her bucket. She definitely got the hang of it pretty quick.

A baby story # 2
Kennedy Rose Beazer

I was so excited to have this baby, probably more excited to not be pregnant anymore. I had a scheduled c-section for the morning. You would think I wouldn't be nervous because it being my 2nd c-section I already knew what was coming and what to expect but I was more nervous this time than the first. I hate more than anything having my legs go numb. It is the absolute worst feeling in the world, and I freak out. I have to mentally be SO tough in order for me to not have some type of anxiety attack. While I receive the spinal, Brandon has to be out of the room, and all I kept asking is when can my hubby come back. All I wanted was for Brandon to be in the room with me. When I was finally all situated, Brandon came back but I was already in tears. My legs were numb and I just feel weird. All I could think about is when is this going to be over. So they start on the surgery and Kennedy came much quicker than Jadyn did. She came out weighing 8 lbs 5 ounces and 19 inches tall. She had dark hair and tiny legs! Brandon was so worried about what the baby was going to look like because he said when they pulled Jadyn out he was scared to death! haha But as soon as Brandon saw her he looked at me and said, "She's cute! She's real cute." With Jadyn, Brandon left me once she came out and did all the cleaning, weighting etc with her. This time I said go see her but come right back! And he stayed with me the rest of the time. And yes I was still in tears. When I was in the recovery room I was feeling very very sick, and in a lot of pain. I learned then that the anesiologist forgot to put the pain meds in which are suppose to take over once the numbness wore off. To say the least it was painful! And I was playing catch up on pain for about a day. In the recovery room I couldn't even hold the baby. I felt so bad but I was so sick I felt like I would drop the baby or something. I finally got to hold her and Brandon was right she was CUTE! Such a cute little baby. I couldn't get over how little she was- she even got to wear newborn diapers!
Later in the evening my parents brought Jadyn- and I was so excited to see my little J-bird. When she came in she was a little hesitant at first with seeing me in the hospital bed and everything but she LOVED her baby sister. She just wanted to hold her and kiss her and that hasn't changed one bit. She is going to be the best big sister. I left the hospital 3 days later and that was probably a mistake because as much as you think you wont do a lot at home- you still do way more than you would at the hospital. Thus making for a very hard recovery. It was a very hard time for me- I even told Brandon unless a stork is going to drop off our babies we won't be having any more. I'm now at the 6 week mark and feel much better. I had so much help from Mama Beaz and my mom in which I am so grateful. I literally would have died without their help.
Kennedy is just precious. She still is a tiny little thing, with a tiny head, tiny legs, and the cutest little features except she has big beautiful eyes. We don't really know what color her eyes are yet- they may be brown. Still has dark hair although it is lightening up. She's a good eater, sleeps good at night, but she does cry a lot. I love this little munchkin and am so happy she's apart of our family.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear...
I was reading Brown Bear Brown Bear to Jadyn and while we were reading she started finishing the sentences. I was shocked! I wish I started recording from the beginning but it was cute hearing her go through at the end. My favorite is when she says the color purple. :)

September Favs
Quiet time with daddy
While she's taking all the food out she is saying, "I clean, I clean." I guess she has seen me clean out the fridge a few times. I'm always game for a helper!
Passed out mid-coloring
We had playgroup at the park, and Jadyn had an accident. I had a spare pair of underwear but forgot clothes so I just put the new pair of underwear on and let her be. I was talking with the moms and they said, "Crystal, I dont know if you know but your daughter stripped down." I said, "oh I know she had an accident." They are like "No she's like butt naked" I turn around and she had taken off her panties and was just happily playing in the mud!!! It made me laugh.
Juicing- She LOVES to help!
Another funny story- We have been trying to sleep train Jadyn again after the summer, so we just put a gate up and let her cry. Anyways I pass the hallway and see that her blankets are all thrown on the floor so I pick them up to put them back on her (she is sleeping now) and when I go to put them on her I see that she is totally naked! I was seriously cracking up. She was fully clothed going to bed. She took everything off and then fell asleep like this. I guess she likes to be naked. Wonder where she gets that from???
"Baby Sister" she says.
And thats a wrap for September!
