Life with Three

Our sweet Parker-Pie is home and we are loving life with 3 cute, busy kiddos.  Lindsay requests to hold Parker and needs a picture to document it everyday.  I also need to remind her everyday that the baby swing is only for Parker and only mommies and daddies can get Parker out of his crib.

Eddy and Lindsay have become better buds and spend hours watching shows and playing on Dad's tablet.
We call our cute baby boy Guster most of the time or Lindsay's name for him, "It's-ok-Gus."  She spends her time softly patting his head and saying, "it's ok Gus."
He is a darling boy and is figuring out the difference between day and night.  He loves to eat, sleep, and cuddle.  All my favorite snuggly baby things.  He is so tiny and has made Lindsay turn into a giant over night.

I'm feeling great and was even brave enough to attempt a new cooking project with the kids one afternoon.  We made some yummy homemade rolls without too much of a flour mess.  I'm looking forward to more baby boy cuddles, more messes with my two bigger buddies, and maybe squeeze in time for a shower or doing a chore around the house.  Maybe.

Snow Day!

Our first big snow day!  We have had such a nice November with perfect fall weather, but it was fun to have a snow day.  The kids were so excited, and so not dressed for the occasion, but just couldn't be contained.  They had a fun 10 minutes before coming back in for a hot chocolate break.

Happy Halloween

A cute pumpkin princess and a very manly fireman.

They got plenty of treats, but Lindsay's are pretty much gone after today.  I caught Lindsay running upstairs this morning, "hey mom, I'm just going to keep these two treats in my bed," as she jumped back under her covers.  I could barely keep treats for the trick-or-treaters because every time I turned around she was eating another piece.  She had too much fun.

Eddy was a big boy and went around with his next-door friends.  He told me this morning, "Did I mention I saw a spooky house."  He felt like such a big boy.  He is carefully hoarding his treats.  We'll see how that goes over tomorrow when sister's bucket is empty.

Family Photos

We loaded up the kids and headed to Mueller Park one Saturday afternoon.  Oh Boy!  Trying to catch a decent picture of two kids at once, IMPOSSIBLE!  But here are some that show off my cute, dorky children.

Then they got distracted by throwing rocks.
It got to be a little dangerous.

I love the bruises on her busy toddler legs.

And now, exactly three weeks from today, baby #3 will be here to join these two crazies.  We are pretty lucky and can't wait to meet our new little man.

Busy Bugs

Lulu-Bug went to her 2-year check-up this week.  She's growing, but still hangs around the 30th percentile.  She was a busy bug all over the dr.'s office and only requested one thing, "I need a band-aid."  She is currently driving me crazy with her changing sleeping schedule, but her and brother share a room now and it actually seems to be helping.  She climbs up on her bed to see Eddy on the top bunk and says in her sweetest two-year-old voice, "Sweet Dweams Eddy."
She is busy, busy, busy, and finally has enough hair in the front for me to spike.  We may be upgrading to barrettes soon!
Eddy is also busy, busy, busy with friends.  He was a little over-zealous with blowing up balloons the other day and tried to do them all at once.

Back to School

My favorite time of year!  Last week we started back-to-preschool and we were all very excited!  It was a very fun week and I have two cute classes full of awesome preschoolers, but these two are by far my favorite!

Happy Birthday Lulu!

My big, beautiful girl!
(in mis-matched pjs)

Brother couldn't wait to help open all the presents, which he also helped pick out and wrap!

Lindsay loves her new pink toothbrush, her flip-flops, a pink dr.'s kit, and the playdough set picked out and mostly played by Eddy.  The cute Cabbage Patch doll that looks just like her that mom picked out, well, she gets played with about as much as I thought, but she is still adorable.
Dad prepared a breakfast feast for the birthday girl, Mickey Mouse pancakes!  We had a great day for our great little girl.

The Top 10 Things we love about Lindsay Lu:
1. She is the cutest boss around.
2. She is a chatter-box!
3. She is too cute to ever get mad at, even if she sneaks into the freezer, or climbs the cupboards, or refuses to sleep past 7am.
4. She has a perfect golden curl, (maybe she'll get more, but I love the one she has!)
5. She is so polite and is always saying, "Ganks!"
6. She loves to run to nursery each and every Sunday.
7. She loves to play in her playhouse, eat otter-pops, and take rides in the van.
8. She loves to share, especially if it means more treats in her hands to give to others.
9. She loves to play next door at Melissa's house.
10.  She is adorable with her pink backpack.
