Finally- I'm Tagged!

I always see people getting tagged and I never do- finally I'm it! My cousin Molly tagged me a while ago and now I am responding. I am so cool.

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.C. At the end of the post the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. Fact: I am a totally neurotic driver/passenger. I am constantly afraid that other drivers are going to hit my car. If I am a passenger you will hear me gasping frequently when I think a car is going to hit me. Brandon hates it because I will yelp and he thinks he is going to hit someone so he will slow down or swerve or whatever. I HATE this fact about me- but I can't help it! I got it from my mom, she is the same way.

2. Fact: I look terrible in the mornings! As all of my roommates will attest, I look absolutely disgusting in the mornings. I HAVE to take a shower in order to look decent that day. Trust me, I am not one to point out my flaws so someone will say, "no you don't, you look beautiful in the mornings." It is a true fact, I am an ugly riser. But its OK, I don't care.

3. Habit: It is funny how you don't know you have habits until you get married and your spouse says, why do you do that? Apparently I only screw the toothpaste cap on two full turns. If you were to screw it on tight, it would require four full rotations. I only rotate twice. I never knew that about myself. (However I think this tells us all more about Brandon than about me :) who notices those things!)

4. Fact: I LOVE to read. I am a total book worm. I love really good books. I am lucky that I share this passion with my dad because I can always call him up for a good book. I am amazed at how a good book can teach you so much about yourself, the world, God, Good vs. Evil- anything! My favorite book ever : East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Read it! I am reading The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. It may contend for my #1 spot. If you want a good book, visit Oprah's book club list. I have liked most of the books on her list. They are not however for the undedicated reader- they are REAL books. Not like the vampire books (although I loved those too!)

5. Fact: I don't like trying new foods. If you have met my husband, you know that this is something that stands between us! He LOVES food and trying anything. (he ate dog in Korea). Every time we go to a restaurant I get the same thing (BBQ Chicken, Chicken Cesar Salad, Steak...) I am afraid if I try something new that I won't like it and then I will have wasted my money and be hungry. I am also a big "texture" person. Certain textures gross me out and if I eat them I want to gag. I just recently got converted to Sushi, after much prodding by Brandon, however I sometimes want to gag because the pieces are so big and I don't like putting the entire thing in my mouth at once.

6. Habit: I tend to always think I'm right. But I swear it's usually true! JK. No really though I have a bad habit of always thinking I'm right. I have strong convictions about things and it is hard to sway me. However, I will admit that in my recent years I am getting better. I am not getting easier to sway, but I am getting better at lending a listening ear and trying to accept other people's views. I can also thank my dad for this thinking I'm right habit! (but hey we always are right, huh dad?)

So there you have it- I tag Maeve, Erin, Megan, Michelle, Kindra & Kacee.

First Utah Snow!

On Saturday morning we woke up to a whole bunch of snow! We had plans to go to breakfast, and since I hate driving in the snow I tried to get out of it. But, Brandon insisted we go. Before we left we let Connor play for a little bit. He was amazed at all of the snow. On our way to breakfast he stared out the window the entire time. It was so cute!

Goodbye Friends!

I tried to get some cute pictures of Connor with my cousins that we live with. They left this week for vacation and when the get back we will be gone. Anyway I didn't get very cute pictures, but at least I have some. Connor is going to miss them a lot!

Getting to know you...

A while back my friend Maeve explained who all of her "friend links" were and told a little about each person. I was so happy because when you "blogger stalk" (come on you all do it) you want to know who these people are. So, I am going to copy her and do it too. (It's Sunday afternoon and Brandon and Connor are napping- this sounds like a good way to pass the time)
Brad & Kim Martin: My cousin Kim and her husband. They are going to have a baby girl and they will be GREAT parents. Kim is such an amazing girl and a great example to me. We grew up playing soccer together and having tons of fun. We love her and her hubby who is SO nice.
Brett, Megan and Madie: My sister obviously. We have grown very close since getting married and having babies. She is such a great sister. She is a nurse in the NICU and is very smart. If I ever have a preemie- I would trust her COMPLETELY to take care of it. Her husband is an avid BSU Broncos fan and such a great guy. He is a great addition to our family. Him and Brandon get along great together. We are going on a cruise with them in about a week!! We can't wait.
Cardon and Kelly Webb: Cardon is my cousin (Brother of Kim Martin) Ever since we were kids he has cracked us up constantly. His wife is probably the sweetest girl in the world and they are perfect for each other. They live in NYC so we don't see them that much. However when they do come around you know you will have fun!
Cody, Raquel and Cash: Raquel is my cousin. She is very talented and very nice! She is a great artist and painted Connor some pictures for his room that she could have sold for $200 a piece. Her husband is crazy and so much fun. He is the kind of guy you could call in the middle of the night for help and he would be over in a flash. They have a new baby with red hair and he is adorable. We love them!
Erin Hawley: My college roommate and BFF! She is super crazy and hilarious. She is a fantastic friend and is ALWAYS supportive and happy for you. She is a ballerina and a great dancer. If Erin is around, you will have fun. Even if she is giving you a lap dance while you're trying to do your homework :)
Jon& Jill Facer: Another college roomie. Jill is such a great and strong person. I loved being her roommate. I have never met Jon, but he is a LUCKY man. He must be pretty sweet too if Jill married him. They are true blue Californians- just look at their blog. Jill is such a good example and has a strong testimony that she will share with anyone.
Maeve Millard: Maeve was another college roomie and BFF. She has always been such a good friend. She is a returned missionary and a producer at KSL in Salt Lake. She is so smart and we always praise her for having a "real grown up job" I know I can talk to Maeve about anything anytime. She listens and always gives great advice! She is the best.
Nate, Michelle Wall and Kids: Nate and Michelle were our good friends when we lived in Boise for a year. It is funny because I actually went to HS with Nate's little brother! They are the nicest couple! They are so fun and funny. We were sad to leave them when me moved!
Nick, Kacee & Mea Montgomery: Our BFF's in Rexburg! They were the managers of the apt complex we moved into when we got married. After a while we started hanging out and now we just love them. They are the best because they always want to hang out, even if we aren't doing anything. Their daughter is so cute and her and Connor are boyfriend and girlfriend. We will be moving back into their complex in a couple of weeks! We can't wait!
Nick, Molly Birchall & girls: Molly is my cousin on my mom's side. She is the daughter of my favorite aunt Sally! When we were kids we used to sing songs from the Little Mermaid for the video camera and have so much fun! Her husband is SO nice! We don't get to see them that much, they live in California, but they have an adorable family and they are a sweet couple.
Ray, Kindra Cherry and kids: I actually haven't met this family... however, Kindra was partly responsible for getting Brandon reactivated and on a mission! YEA for her! A big THANK YOU for your missionary work- look what happened! I love you for that :)
Sean & Makayla Kliger: Makayla is Brandon's little sister. She and Sean live in Seattle and apparently are getting a new puppy! Makayla just graduated from nursing school and is also a nurse in the NICU! (If I ever have a preemie I am definitely covered) A big shout out to Kayla for being the first college Grad in the Wilde Fam! Sean is a great guy and a lot of fun!
Tyler, Nina and Maddox Seibert: Tyler is my cousin (brother of Molly Birchall mentioned earlier) He and his wife are both really smart- grads of UC Berkley! They live in California where Tyler is in med school. Maddox was born just a couple days after Connor. He is so cute! We used to vacation to Sun River with Tyler and his family. We always had a lot of fun with them!
So there you have it. My links in a nutshell. I am so grateful for my family and friends and all of the memories that I have with them. Now- if you are on my links you need to do this too so I can blogger stalk your friends :)
