Twins?

Can you tell who is who? One is Brie, one is Rae... Everyone keeps telling me that Brie looks like me but I am starting to see a lot of Raegan in her. I'm excited to see if she will stay dark or lighten up like Rae did.

ps. I went un private or at least until I get paranoid again.

Brielle

Well life has been a little crazy since our little Brielle arrived. Here is my labor story...
I had my weekly Dr. appointment on Tuesday, March 22 in the afternoon at like 11:30. My doctor checked me to see how dilated I was, turns out I was a 3 almost a 4 and 80%. She also said the head was really low and I said no wonder I can barley even walk.... Anyways so I got home around 12:30, had lunch and put my daughter down for a nap around 1:30. Then I went into my room and decided that maybe I should start putting together my hospital bag. As I was sitting there folding some clothes I felt my first for sure contraction. I thought I had felt a few since leaving the doctors but then figured it was my imagination. I couldn't believe it. I was still only 36 weeks 5 days along. So I was starting to get a little nervous and pulled out some paper to start writing them down. And I called Spencer to tell him that I was having little contractions . He said he would leave work right away and I pretty much begged him to not come yet cause it could be hours before I needed to go to the hospital. He didn't listen to me and came home...and it sure is a good thing he did because in the 30 minutes it took him to get home my contractions had significantly increased in pain. Well he packed both our bags, put the car seat together, brought the bassinet into our room and got everything ready for grandma to stay over. We ended up leaving around 3:30, got there at 4, got checked in, got an epidural at 6, got my water broke at 7, started pushing at 9:21 and had a little baby girl at 9:23. Labor was so much faster then the first time around. And overall a lot easier. The downside was the epidural hurt a lot more this time, I had the shakes for like an hour after labor which really stunk, I missed Raegan like crazy and cried both nights I was away from her and I was a lot more nervous when Brie came out because she was so early and little. She quit breathing for a minute, the NICU had to come in and check her, she failed her first car seat test but luckily she is a happy healthy baby girl.
I am definitely still adjusting to taking care of the little girls under the age of 2 by myself til 5:30 everyday. Most of the time it is great and fairly easy because Brielle is such a good baby (so much different then Raegan was). I still haven't ventured out by myself with the two. Seems way too hard still. And Raegan has adjusted so well. She loves her little sister and is always kissing her or telling her that she loves her. Okay here is picture overload...

Here is huge me right before we left for the hospital. Yikes, I know! Rae and I hanging out waiting for some progress. And she's here!! Right after her first bath. So fresh and so clean clean! First time Raegan saw her little sister. We had Raegan come in first but we had aunt Ali come in with her to take pics. She loved her right away calling her 'my baby.' First kiss This was when Rae came to hang out with us the next day and I was so excited. It was our first night apart ever and to say I missed her was an understatement This was when we got home from the hospital and took Brie out of her car seat. Raegan was so excited to see her. And here are a couple of my favorite pictures that my sister in law took when Brie was 10 days old.

We are so happy to have 2 healthy little girls! Now if we could just get a little more sleep...

Superbowl Sunday

We spent Superbowl Sunday at Grandma Stacey's house. We had a lot of fun! We didn't really care who won this year but Aunt Rachael is a huge Green Bay fan and actually went to a game this season. She brought Raegan back a cheerleaders uniform so she wore it and looked darn cute in it. Here she is, Green Bay's little good luck charm:

She wasn't quite into watching the game so everyone helped in entertaining her. She colored with GG.

She read books with Aunt Ali.

She was swinging in a blanket with Aunt Rachael.

She was dancing with Daddy.

She was playing with her favorite dog Abby.

Cheering with Grandma Stacey.

And she was eating snacks with Grandma Arlene.

Here are some more photos throughout our night. Our little family picture where the little stinker wouldn't stay still, she was wiggling to get down the whole time.

Our two hardcore Green Bay fans, Rach and her friend Heather.

Part of the gang relaxing on the couch. And of course the dogs have to be right there in the middle of it.

And Ali fixing us our treat fix for the second half. We love that Aunt Ali's cookies!

We had a really good time hanging out with our little fam damily. Can't wait til next year when we can do it again!

Anemia

So a couple weeks ago I got my blood drawn for my glucose testing. And last week I got a letter in the mail from my doctor saying that my iron is low and I am currently anemic. Ah ha! This now explains so much. Why I am always tired, always out of breath, feel dizzy (especially when I get up fast). Anyways, anyone else have this during pregnancy and do anything that made them feel better? Any certain foods? They said it was common but I didn't have this with my first pregnancy so any advice is welcome.

Our entertainer

So even though these are over 2 months old I just came across them and think they are so cute. This one is of her and I talking

This one is of her twirling. She has a lot more moves now and usually sings along but this was a new song to her but she liked it. My kind of girl (yes it is the one and only Backstreet Boys).

As of late

I feel so much safer now that my blog is private and I know that psycho strangers can't read or look at us. But thanks so much family and friends who are taking the time to look at our blog, I know our life is just so interesting :-) I'm going to be a lot better at updating now.

Raegan has really been into 2 movies these last couple weeks. Shrek and Finding Nemo. I'm pretty sure we watch at least one a day. Here is princess chilling on her favorite spot, her Dora couch (which folds into a bed).

I grew big time this last month. I feel huge and uncomfortable already. It's hard to sleep because I can't seem to find a good position and this little girl is a wiggle worm. This picture was on our 4 year anniversary. We got to go to La Caille which was amazing. Thank you Mom for treating us there! It was really nice to get out and just spend a couple hours together.

These are the beautiful pink roses I got. Raegan wouldn't quit trying to touch them. She said they are 'pity.'

To say that Raegan likes to dance and sing is an understatement. She LOVES it! She knows the words to so many songs. Pretty sure she know all Justin Bieber songs but she also loves all the new and hip songs on the radio. I try jamming to my country tunes but she will tell me no from the back seat and I have to change it to 97.1 to get her to be quiet. She is a total Spencer junior. I tried uploading a video to her dancing/singing but it didn't work so I will have to try again later.

This is her newest discovery...

She is at such a fun age. She entertains me and makes me laugh all day long. She is a little chatter box and seems more like 3 then 1 and 1/2. When I sing to her at night she sings along with me until she falls asleep. My favorite thing she does right now is she will tell me she wuvs me so much.. or sometimes she will just say 'so much.' She is definitely gettin some attitute though. I think this pic is proof. We love our little ball of personality.

Last thing I want to say is I am so thankful for this man of mine. He has been working so hard lately making it possible for me to get to stay home with our little girl and not have to go to work. He has been getting to work early, coming home late and has been out of town for 5 days at a time at least once a month. He has so much on his shoulders, so much stress and so much to think about but is still such a sweet amazing daddy and always makes me feel so special and beautiful even though I feel like a huge ugly cow right now. We love you Spender!!
