Pumpkin Patch Express
AR and I invited some of the other coach's wives and their kids to the Pumpkin Patch with us. Our husbands are gone all day on Sunday for football and this was a good way to break up the long day. It was a couple of days before a cold front came through and it was very hot for an October day. It made for a few irritable moments, but overall we had a great time. AR and Emma are the same age and both are a complete mess! They keep us laughing and shaking our heads most of the time.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
This was the 2nd year I had the privilege of participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Last year, my school had a team, but this year I walked with my group of friends in honor of our friend Lee Ann. Last year during the race she was under going treatment for breast cancer. This year she was able to walk/run as a one year survivor. It was beyond awesome to be a part of this and walk beside Lee Ann. She is such an inspiration! We put on our pink t-shirts, tutus, and boa's and had a great time. I hope I can continue to be a part of this event every year!
