Hollywood...here we come!!!

Our Little Valentine

Jim and I usually don't do much on Valentine's because it falls right after our Anniversary. We both are completely ok not celebrating this retail holiday. :-) However, AR MUST have a Valentine's present!
Especially since she woke up on Valentine's with a fever of 103 for the 2nd straight day. We spent 2 hours in the doctor Sunday morning to rule out everything. He settled on a fever virus or some other virus. She truly was only grumpy when the fever was high. She was back to her spunky self as soon as the motrin started working each time.

A sucker makes EVERYTHING better!

Her sweet Daddy also picked her up a crown, earrings, and a necklace for Valentine's Day and she got a Mr. Potato Head from Uncle Mark and Aunt Karen. I just didn't get any pictures with the stuff.

Snow Day = Fun Day!

After the major bust in January, I remanined very skeptical about us actually getting snow this time. Thankfully, we got just enough to have the perfect snow day!!! My school was called off, but Jim had to go a half day. AR and I woke and stayed in our P.J.'s forever. We waited and waited for the snow to start falling. Finally about 11:00 it started and snowed for about 5 hours. It was beautiful. AR and I took 3 trips out by ourself until Jim got home. AR took a good nap and rested up for an afternoon with her buddy Charlie Noto. They were PRECIOUS! We built a snowman, made snow angels, and went to the park to play in the big field. They loved every minute of it. She really enjoyed having Charlie to be silly with.

We came in about 5:00 to dry off and warm up and then went to The Noto's for pizza and Wii Bowling. We whipped the boys...creamed them! They claim they let us win for Valentine's Day! Ha Ha!

Yesterday was perfect and a great way to spend a day with family and friends. I LOVE snow.

Super Duper Bowl

I heard the NFL says you have to pay them if use the term SB. So I will call it the Super Duper Bowl. :-)  

Our good friends The Sellers had everyone over for the big game. Ashley grew up right outside New Orleans so she is a true Saints fan. It was so fun watching it with someone who was very fired up and the Saints winning was awesome.The food and decorations were fabulous. They even let everyone bring their kids. It was organized chaos and sooo much fun. I didn't get many pics of the adults, but some cute ones of the kids. I did get sweet Whitney in a picture. I LOVE the one where she is entertaining the kids! AR enjoyed playing with old and new friends. I think she kind of has a boyfriend now named Charlie. They were smitten with each other. AR gave him a goodbye kiss and he then asked if he could walk us to our car! Precious!!!  AR also enjoyed playing a new friend named Sophie.

She is so sweet and they had a good time together.

I want to do some art

Ann Rogers and I spent Friday night alone because Jim was working the gate at a basketball game. We went shopping for a little while and then to eat at Zoe's. (our favorite)
She saw some art supplies and paint at one of the stores and kept on and on about wanting to do some art. We purchased some washable paint and she hasn't stopped since.You will notice extreme concentration in some of the pictures!!!

It was fun for a few hours, but I am over doing some art now. :-) However,

I will keep and treasure her first art pieces in case she grows up to be a master painter.
