This past week has been great. Miles had his two month check up. He weighs 13 lbs. 10 oz. (He's in the 90th percentile for weight!) and he is 23 3/4 in. tall. He is doing great. He even survived all of his immunizations, although he made it very clear that he did NOT like getting them.

My sisters came into town for the weekend. It was so great to have them here and for them to meet Miles. We all went to Venice Beach with our aunt and walked around for a while. Although that is one VERY dirty and sleezy place, we had a good time.

Miles is just as cute as ever. Here are a few shots of him. (And one to show off my newly dyed hair. Roger did a great job.)

And here are a few pictures of Miles sleeping. We can't have enough of them. And for the first time today, he happened to get his thumb in his mouth and suck on it! He has been slobbering on his fist or a few fingers, but he was successful tonight.

In the Hospital

Video time again - this is some pretty priceless video we took in the hospital shortly after Miles was born. He looks so different now, two months later.

Video Numero Dos

This goes way back. This is the very first video footage we took of Miles - from so long ago that it's before he was born. If you've never seen a baby kick in the womb, it's a sight to see. Here he is!:

Video!

I've been meaning to start getting videos up here for a while. We have some older footage that I still want to get up, but this clip is from yesterday. It gets explained in the video, but Miles has a small stuffed duck and a stuffed turtle hanging above his bassinet, and he LOVES them. This video is him looking at them and making sounds, which is endlessly cute.

Blessing and the beach!

This past Sunday, we had Miles blessed in our church. It was a very sweet blessing. Luckily we were able to hear it! We were worried about that.
On Monday, my parents and I took Miles to the beach. He was asleep the whole time. I guess we'll have to try again another day. Or maybe he's like me and is more interested in mountains.
Miles is now 6 weeks old! He is still doing great at night and struggling during the day. I think he is just too interested on what's going on around him! He is a sweet boy.
